Question Is LAUSD this bad?
So kids get bullied and schools do nothing about it? Or parents attacking kids for no reason, and schools won't take action or protect them?

For 8 people, wanted to go to Uovo but there’s no tables for that many. Hillstone in SM the same. Forma on Montana was annoying, put me on hold for 15 min for no reason. Need help please!!!!
Mid range priced delicious cozy restaurant for 8, not too loud, not Mexican because I’ve eaten tamales and enchiladas all week already! So Italian or American preferred.

A peek at the complications of running a legacy burger stand in California, with nods to Bill's Burgers and Apple Pan and Marty's (among others), plus a convo with Pasadena's Super Burger and Santa Monica's Heavy Handed.

(Could not post on LADOT sub so.im posting here)I randomly got this text message. I know it's a scam. Since a.) I don't own a car, and b.) I don't live in LA. Just thought I should share to spread the word around. Unless l'm wrong please let me know but I'm sure it's a scam. Be careful folks.

Hey all, posting from a throwaway. My rent increased last February by 4% but this year I'm getting ANOTHER 4% rent increase... Is this legal? From what I can see the 4% rent increase was only allowed between Feb and June 2024. https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/los_angeles/latest/lamc/0-0-0-383463
Additionally if it is legal do I have any chance of negotiating a smaller decrease? The market seems pretty soft right now and my rent is significantly above market at this point.

Just left Cedars and we were driving around to find somewhere that was open to eat and drove around the grove. I’ve never seen so many people there. I’m pretty sure the only thing open is the movie theater but there’s a line of cars backed up for what feels like a mile to get in on all four sides. Driving down Fairfax and 3rd I got a peek inside and it’s literally shoulder to shoulder and the farmers market is clearly closed too. I was here on the weekend and as busy as that was, it was nothing like what I saw today

Hello 👋
I’m helping out a friend with venues for a little kid’s birthday party in mid to late March.
Has anyone been to or hosted a birthday party at the LA Zoo? Specifically the Lair Overlook?
Any feedback is appreciated: ease of set up, helpfulness of staff, if adults/ kids enjoyed it, etc.
Many thanks & wishes for a lovely new year!
