Who’s Going to The Game Tomorrow?
If you are, please be loud!
I went to the Minnesota game this year and that may have been the best crowd over the last few years I’ve been going to games. Crowd got really loud on every down on defense, not just on third, the whole game, regularly going over a 100db. By contrast the Dolphins game was just awful. We know how each of those turned out!
This is a big one tomorrow and just like the boys, we got work to do! Drive your section, be the leader and people will get into it and it all makes for such a better experience!
Go Rams!

On PFF Puka Nacua is currently the 3rd highest ranked skill position player in the NFL (Behind Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry)
Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry share the same top grade at 93.5. Puka with a 92.3. Btw PFF shares the top 3 grades for every position for free so that is where I got my information.

You can watch the Rams v Cardinals on CBS tomorrow
I'm posting this because I thought that I would have to have NFL Network to watch, but apparently not.

First game at sofi with my dad (first time as well) tomorrow. What to do? Tailgating?
Heading to my first game at sofi with my dad. Got us tickets for Christmas. He’s excited to go. Want to get the most out of the day. What is the tailgating situation? Do we need a pass to get into the pink zone? All advice is welcome. Thanks!

So does it matter if we win this game since they could still beat us next week for the division ?

DISCUSSIONS NFL media bias
Bleacher Report really gave the Rams a 0 year window to win now with this team and the Chargers a 9 year window why is the media literally always sucking their dicks when we’ve been better than them every year we’ve been in LA together except for like one 😂😂😂 deadass brought a super bowl here and made it twice in 4 years and they’ve made the playoffs one time this whole run and blew a 27 pt lead in the wild card round.

The Rams have a 29% chance of clinching the division this week
Suffering Giants fan here who has hopped on the Rams bandwagon the past couple of years since my friend is a fan!
This post describes what it takes for the Rams to clinch the division this week. I was curious about the chances of that occurring, so I wrote a quick script to simulate it and the results are ~29%. I sourced the win probabilities from here. Good luck!
from random import random
LAR_WIN_PROB = 0.726
OTHER_WIN_PROBS = [0.618, 0.640, 0.791, 0.375, 0.50, 0.274]
NUM_SIMULATIONS = 1000000
num_clinches = 0
for _ in range(NUM_SIMULATIONS):
rams_win = random() <= LAR_WIN_PROB
if not rams_win:
continue
num_other_wins = 0
for other_win_prob in OTHER_WIN_PROBS:
other_win = random() <= other_win_prob
if other_win:
num_other_wins += 1
if num_other_wins == 4:
num_clinches += 1
break
print(str(num_clinches / NUM_SIMULATIONS))

Rams are extremely likely to clinch division if they beat Cardinals
The NFL has apparently released a memo saying the "Rams can clinch a playoff spot by the strength-of-victory tiebreaker over Seattle by getting 3.5 wins (three wins and a tie, or four wins) from the six following teams — Minnesota, Buffalo, San Francisco, Washington, Cincinnati and Cleveland."
That has misled some into thinking if those results don't occur this week, the Rams & Seahawks game will settle the divisional race. What these people are missing: There would be another week for the Rams to clinch this strength of victory tiebreaker. It's extremely likely that the Rams would be able to clinch this tiebreaker the next week and, therefore, the division if they beat the Cardinals. On the NFL.com, this has been suggested by the 99% likelihood the Rams have to make the playoffs if they beat the Cardinals, coupled with it being very unlikely they win the wildcard. Therefore, it's extremely likely the Rams win their division if they beat the Cardinals. And I hope the Rams players & coaches realize this.

With a Rams win this weekend, and the following Strength of Victory implications - the Rams win the NFC West.
Step 1, the Rams must beat Arizona. If we don't then week 18 becomes a must win.
Step 2, if the Rams do beat Arizona, then Strength of Victory comes into play. This happens because if the Rams were to lose to Seattle in week 18 then both teams would be:
- tied in head to head.
- tied in the division record
- tied in the common game record
- tied in the conference games record.
This means that we go to the 5th tie breaker, which is Strength of Victory. The Rams hold a stronger Strength of Victory mainly due to their wins of the Bills and the Vikings. This means that if four out of six of the following teams in bold win their game this weekend AND the Rams beat the Cardinals, the Rams win the west regardless of the result of week 18.
Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers (Because the Rams beat the Vikings, the Vikings winning improves their SOV)
Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets (The Rams beat the Bills and the Jets here so technically both improves the Rams SOV. However, the Seahawks also beat the Jets, so them losing makes the Seahawks SOV worse.)
San Francisco 49ers vs. Detroit Lions (Because the Rams beat the 49ers twice, the 49ers SOV counts against the Rams twice. Whereas Seattle split and the SOV only counts against Seattle's once.)
Washington Commanders vs. Atlanta Falcons (The Seahawks beat the Falcons, so the Falcons losing worsens their SOV)
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Denver Broncos (The Seahawks beat the Broncos, so the Broncos losing worsens their SOV)
Cleveland Browns vs. Miami Dolphins (The Seahawks beat the Dolphins, so the Dolphins losing worsens their SOV)
TL;DR:
Rams win vs Cardinals and 4 of the following teams win; Minnesota, Bills, 49ers, Commanders, Bengals and Browns - Rams win the west.
