Wow. She seemed really scared.

Because
 everyone was ignoring her?

u/cleantushy Apr 29 '24

She feared for her life ability to get an out-of-context soundbite

u/OctopusIntellect Apr 29 '24

So scared that - she says herself - she spent two hours walking up and down right next to the thing that was supposedly scaring her. Two hours.

When an entire crowd is standing silent, arms locked and it's against you, you'd probably cry as well.

LMAO

Is that it? The only rebuttal to my statement?

33

u/Fe014 Apr 29 '24

Yep, And some downvotes

She is a grown up woman, doing some kind of journalism on an important matter, not a kid in kindergarten, she should've tried later with the liaison if she really wanted to learn and do her job, but she was there to play victim and lie.

Respect for the students, from the middle east âœŠđŸ»

The liaison isn't liaising. Who else is she supposed to talk to?

u/nofatchicks22 Apr 29 '24

So you go somewhere to interview people and everyone says they don’t want to talk to you

Your options are:

A. Close out your story by telling your viewers you couldn’t get an interview and go home

B. Go stand in front of the people who just told you they had nothing to say and cry because they
 aren’t saying anything to you

I understand that you would choose B
I hope you understand why everyone thinks that’s laughable

-1

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

You know what's more laughable? Not being able to articulate the truth when someone asks you about it while you are protesting about it.

15

u/LeonCrimsonhart Apr 29 '24

You missed these two points:

  1. Not everyone is a good public speaker.

  2. Many news outlets are dishonest and will take words out of context to demonize the protestors.

5

u/h0nkhunk Apr 29 '24

Seems to me they didn't need to articulate a word for me to understand their protest. Even just from this single video it was clear what they were protesting. What's laughable is not being able to put two and two together from all the overt displays stating the purpose of the protest clearly.

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

What displays were those?

1

u/nofatchicks22 Apr 29 '24

Not talking to someone doesn’t mean you can’t articulate what you’re doing.

Sad that has to be explained to you.

You’re defending the grown woman crying because people won’t talk to her lmao

Solid troll though

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

No it just means you won't articulate what you are doing. Which is basically the same thing. In effect anyway.

Sad that has to be explained to you.

Oh I don't care that she is crying. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of protesting but not taking the chance to get your message out there.

What a poor excuse of an insult.

Uh, no one? It's super easy to just walk away. She wants content.

-1

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

What news agency doesn't want content?

5

u/h0nkhunk Apr 29 '24

Content also gets to decide if it wants to be content. They decided they don't want to be content. How is that so hard to understand?

5

u/xool420 Apr 29 '24

I have no idea why some people can’t get this. It’s SUPER clear what she’s doing.

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

You are in public protesting, why wouldn't you want to get your message out.

You're almost there. So close!

10

u/Jazzeki Apr 29 '24

why? are you getting afraid now because nobody is willing to engage with you? are you crying?

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Lol I'm getting the engagements now. Crying? Why would I cry? I'm not in Palestin. Gfsf.

10

u/Jazzeki Apr 29 '24

hey at least you admit to trolling. have fun.

17

u/tototobal Apr 29 '24

This guy is just like the woman in the video, just trolling hasbara.

Best is to just not engage.

2

u/DerpyDaDulfin Apr 29 '24

Yup this guy is clearly an agitator just like the whiner in this video

-3

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

You guys really know your buzz words. To bad you don't know the words to articulate your protest. You might have an effect but you'd rather gatekeep information and use ad hominem attacks to discredit people wondering what the f you are even protesting.

u/LeonCrimsonhart Apr 29 '24
  1. Not everyone is a good public speaker.

  2. Many news outlets are dishonest and will take words out of context to demonize the protestors.

It is not hard to empathize with the protestors.

4

u/xool420 Apr 29 '24

It’s also IMMEDIATELY clear what they’re protesting for those with more than 3 brain cells or those choosing to be ignorant because it makes them feel better.

4

u/WarmProfit Apr 29 '24

Ratiod plus L

-1

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Ooooh you sure showed me.

3

u/xool420 Apr 29 '24

Ik you’re joking with this, but honestly you should look at the response to your beliefs. Do you genuinely think you’re in the right?

1

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Yes. I do. Just because everyone wants to jump off the cliff, I'm not going to think, "well everyone else is doing it." And jump as well. No one has given me reason to change my mind. Get a lot of ad hominem attacks though.

2

u/xool420 Apr 29 '24

Alright man, I’d advise a little general awareness and self reflection. But live your life however you want to, if you wanna be miserable that’s your choice.

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Who said I was miserable? I do have general awareness, which is why I don't just follow the crowd or shut up even though I'm being down voted to oblivion. Self reflection is what got me here.

19

u/ShinsBalogna Apr 29 '24

If ppl don’t want to speak to me I usually walk away
 but that’s just me.

-4

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

It's her job to go find out what they are protesting about. She is obligated to stay and try.

12

u/ShinsBalogna Apr 29 '24

Oh shoot! Totally didn’t realize she was obligated to stay and try and cry on camera! Totally thought it was for her YouTube video; something that was her choice.

1

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Better youtube than fox News. Or CNN. Or any other news outlet.

4

u/vjcodec Apr 29 '24

Yeah because YouTube is home to honest outlets and people. You completely miss the point of journalism. That they have a policy not to talk to her is the message.

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Okay then, what's the point of journalism?

I have a better chance at learning good information from YouTube than fox or CNN or any other mainstream news outlet.

So they set up this whole protest to not talk to people, got it.

1

u/vjcodec Apr 30 '24

Observe, investigate and report. This lady interjected and projected her own feelings and needs in a “story” and you feeling sorry or upset for her is somehow the protesters fault.

Don’t act like her contribution is the main source for you to find out the protesters goals. I think it’s pretty clear and not that hard to find out. What would have been an interesting story was to report on the difference in reacting to the media compared to other protests. And why they would do that? And after showing multiple clips of them repeating the same answer. Why would you stand in a circle crying about it?

5

u/Sta723 Apr 29 '24

And no one is obligated to respond to her. Not much needs to be said on this matter. They weren’t rude or violent. Just said we won’t be interviewing with you. Seems like a pretty straightforward situation

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Okay. How about me? Do you think they would tell me what they are protesting?

1

u/Sta723 Apr 29 '24

You can go and ask yourself.

-1

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Why would I do that? How? You going to pay for my travel?

3

u/Sta723 Apr 29 '24

You ok? You’re the one who asked. Try a good faith argument next time. Nice talking to you.

-1

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Lol you try a good faith argument. But go ahead and tuck tail and run.

Stop playing the victim! She got told multiple times they didn’t want to give an interview. She could just walk away. The only reason the crowd locked arms is because she kept on pushing for answers. These protesters learned from the nasty tricks played in the past by people like daily wire and other right wing media outlets. They try to find a person that has an emotional reaction and frame that.
