Oh shoot! Totally didn’t realize she was obligated to stay and try and cry on camera! Totally thought it was for her YouTube video; something that was her choice.

Yeah because YouTube is home to honest outlets and people. You completely miss the point of journalism. That they have a policy not to talk to her is the message.

Okay then, what's the point of journalism?

I have a better chance at learning good information from YouTube than fox or CNN or any other mainstream news outlet.

So they set up this whole protest to not talk to people, got it.

Observe, investigate and report. This lady interjected and projected her own feelings and needs in a “story” and you feeling sorry or upset for her is somehow the protesters fault.

Don’t act like her contribution is the main source for you to find out the protesters goals. I think it’s pretty clear and not that hard to find out. What would have been an interesting story was to report on the difference in reacting to the media compared to other protests. And why they would do that? And after showing multiple clips of them repeating the same answer. Why would you stand in a circle crying about it?
