Yep, And some downvotes

She is a grown up woman, doing some kind of journalism on an important matter, not a kid in kindergarten, she should've tried later with the liaison if she really wanted to learn and do her job, but she was there to play victim and lie.

Respect for the students, from the middle east โœŠ๐Ÿป

The liaison isn't liaising. Who else is she supposed to talk to?

Uh, no one? It's super easy to just walk away. She wants content.

What news agency doesn't want content?

Content also gets to decide if it wants to be content. They decided they don't want to be content. How is that so hard to understand?

I have no idea why some people canโ€™t get this. Itโ€™s SUPER clear what sheโ€™s doing.

You are in public protesting, why wouldn't you want to get your message out.

Message was out. Do you have any questions about what they were protesting? Based on this video where no one engaged with her, I can still fill you in if you somehow managed to miss it.

Sure. What are they protesting? I managed to miss it.

They are protesting the genocide of Palestinians at the hands of Israel, and the cooperation and support for this genocide that has been provided by their government in their name.

Okay. Thanks. The United States does supply a lot of support. They should be able to support themselves. I agree. I dont think Palestinians should die nor do I think Israelis should die. Seems like a shit sandwich whatever we do. If the United states didn't support Israel, they would probably have to fight every neighbor in the region. Of course Israel seems to be hell bent on a genocide of their own. At this point, it seems like picking who should die.

Genocide would end today if the US stopped giving them weapons.

2

No it wouldn't. Israel does make a lot of their own weapons and if the United States stops giving them weapons, they will find themselves with a lot of enemies who know they are short on weapons. We would see Israel fighting its invading neighbors without munitions. We would see the end is Israel and the death of millions of Israelis. Which is why the u.s. military is in the region to make sure no one wants to take advantage of a weakened idf. Which is why the idf is going ham on Palestin while they can.

True - Israel would have to decide between genocide, healthcare, and free education. I just like to tell myself they aren't so stupid as to put military over health care and education.

Well no it wouldn't. Israel produces their own weapons as well.

2

u/h0nkhunk Apr 29 '24

You're right, Israel is sitting on billions of dollars of excess money they can just spend on making more weapons they're no longer getting for free. Their citizens would be delighted to lose their free healthcare or education in order to foot those costs. Everything would carry on business as usual, surely.
