When an entire crowd is standing silent, arms locked and it's against you, you'd probably cry as well.

Is that it? The only rebuttal to my statement?

Yep, And some downvotes

She is a grown up woman, doing some kind of journalism on an important matter, not a kid in kindergarten, she should've tried later with the liaison if she really wanted to learn and do her job, but she was there to play victim and lie.

Respect for the students, from the middle east ✊🏻

The liaison isn't liaising. Who else is she supposed to talk to?

So you go somewhere to interview people and everyone says they don’t want to talk to you…

Your options are:

A. Close out your story by telling your viewers you couldn’t get an interview and go home

B. Go stand in front of the people who just told you they had nothing to say and cry because they… aren’t saying anything to you

I understand that you would choose B… I hope you understand why everyone thinks that’s laughable

You know what's more laughable? Not being able to articulate the truth when someone asks you about it while you are protesting about it.

You missed these two points:

  1. Not everyone is a good public speaker.

  2. Many news outlets are dishonest and will take words out of context to demonize the protestors.

Seems to me they didn't need to articulate a word for me to understand their protest. Even just from this single video it was clear what they were protesting. What's laughable is not being able to put two and two together from all the overt displays stating the purpose of the protest clearly.

What displays were those?

Not talking to someone doesn’t mean you can’t articulate what you’re doing.

Sad that has to be explained to you.

You’re defending the grown woman crying because people won’t talk to her lmao

Solid troll though

No it just means you won't articulate what you are doing. Which is basically the same thing. In effect anyway.

Sad that has to be explained to you.

Oh I don't care that she is crying. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of protesting but not taking the chance to get your message out there.

What a poor excuse of an insult.

lol no, it might just mean that you don’t want to talk

I understand that’s foreign to you though

That's what I said. Not being able to articulate what you are protesting and simply not articulating what you are protesting are in effect the same thing. Because you aren't talking. But I understand people having ideas not your own is a foreign concept to you though.

Uh, no one? It's super easy to just walk away. She wants content.

What news agency doesn't want content?

6

u/h0nkhunk Apr 29 '24

Content also gets to decide if it wants to be content. They decided they don't want to be content. How is that so hard to understand?

5

u/xool420 Apr 29 '24

I have no idea why some people can’t get this. It’s SUPER clear what she’s doing.

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

You are in public protesting, why wouldn't you want to get your message out.

2

u/h0nkhunk Apr 29 '24

Message was out. Do you have any questions about what they were protesting? Based on this video where no one engaged with her, I can still fill you in if you somehow managed to miss it.

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Sure. What are they protesting? I managed to miss it.

u/h0nkhunk Apr 29 '24

They are protesting the genocide of Palestinians at the hands of Israel, and the cooperation and support for this genocide that has been provided by their government in their name.

0

u/TheSpiritofFkngCrazy Apr 29 '24

Okay. Thanks. The United States does supply a lot of support. They should be able to support themselves. I agree. I dont think Palestinians should die nor do I think Israelis should die. Seems like a shit sandwich whatever we do. If the United states didn't support Israel, they would probably have to fight every neighbor in the region. Of course Israel seems to be hell bent on a genocide of their own. At this point, it seems like picking who should die.
