Other my first sim racing injury
turn one at VIR, two wide, i stomp my race spec birks into my loadcell utilizing all 200kg its rated for (im a beast). my race spec birk clad foot blasts my poor brake pedal out of my wood rig proving how powerful i am. i hear the all too familiar sound of a hole being punched into drywall, my race spec clad birk foot collapses under the pressure and folds into my clutch pedal. boys i am limping right now what the hell i was just playing a game
obligatory rig set up in last pic. happy holidays! ill be back iracing, i will be back.

Please and I am going to say again for anyone with a wood rig DO NOT screw directly into plywood or MDF it will fail. An easy trick to prevent this is run another solid piece of wood on the underside where the pedals are going to mount, something like a 2X4 or even better a 2*6 or 2*8. This will allow for the load to be spread out and the screws to actually grip into something. I would also have ran a lot more then the 4 screws on the pedals.
The rig looks sweet btw!
