General Question/Discussion Prescribed Flonase causing Phantosmia? NSFW

I cannot seem to find anything through google searches, so here I am.

I was prescribed Flonase for benign(apparently) cysts in the nasal passages that could possibly be causing persistent headaches.

It has seemed to help using it daily, however I am constantly smelling smoke, specifically Cigarette smoke.

This is driving me crazy! I stopped it for weeks and it got better, but the headaches returned. I then got the sensimist version thinking it might be better, but upon first use of that, the smell returned full force.

I am on limited funds so I cannot really test every single version of the Fluticasone medicines on the market to narrow down the actual cause and the possible solutions, if any.

Any ideas on this or is there anyone out there that can substantiate this and has found a solution?
