Resolved How do I block subreddits? iOS

I keep getting really vile or bad subreddits in my home feed that I don’t want to see.

Like r/pokeinvesting is the main one I want to block. It is literally just scalpers arguing about how best to price gouge cards for a small profit.

Mobile/App [Chrome Browser] [Xiaomi Note 12 Pro] Reddit wont do infinity scroll anymore and sometime doesn't load at all

Hi, for a month now i can't browse reddit. Sometime i'll be able to scroll for over 50post without issue, but most of the time i can only scroll for 1 to 2 post before having the Unable to load error. It seems to happen only when i'm connected to my account, when i'm logged out everything load fine all the time. I have taken a screen recording of the bug that i'll post in comment since i don't think we can add media on the post. Does anyone have a solution or similar problem ? Thanks

Edit:https://imgur.com/a/zCvMe7w Video link of the bug

Mobile/App Hiding ads (iOS app)

On other apps, such as Instagram, if I wish to not see an ad anymore in my stream, I have the ability to stop the ad from displaying in the future. I can’t seem to find this function in mobile Reddit (iOS). There are times when an ad keeps showing up and it’s annoying or disturbing and I don’t wish to keep seeing it over and over (such as ads from horror movies). These ads are triggering for me and I assume for certain other users as well. But there does not seem to be a way to stop them from showing up. Am I missing something or is this indeed not in my control? (I don’t mind seeing ads. I just want to have the ability to block certain ads because I don’t want to see them.)

Hey all. I am trying to post in a community but the moment I hit post, nothing happens and reddit just redirects me to the community page. Got no error or message either. Does anyone know what's up?

Revert to automatically sort by "hot" (iOS)

Recently, I noticed that when I visit a subreddit, it is sorted by "Best" instead of "Hot" which is how it was previously, and I also remember there being a setting to change default sorting options, but now I can't find it anymore. Was this ability to choose default sorting reamoved?

Access Not getting password reset email, Android

I was ba*ned for 3 days but it's been 5 days maybe, but I can't update or join subreddits and it's telling me that my account has been disabled for suspicious activities and I need to reset my password. What's weird is that when I use Reddit on my PC, everything works just fine. And now, I'm not even getting the email to reset my password even after going to the settings pressing the button. What to do?

Mobile/App When will the quote functionality return to mobile for Android?

Used to be about to pull quotes from the original post, even making a comment. Now all I see is the post title, not the text body. It still works when replying to comments though. I'd guess it's been this way for about 2-3 weeks.

Why are all subs default sorted by Best now instead of Hot? -iPhone mobile app

This is super annoying when I go into a sub and see posts from a week ago instead of posts that are currently getting action? Why was this changed? Was there some explanation behind this decision?

AutoMod answered Updating email when account is locked IOS

My friend got “locked out” a couple weeks ago and in order to lift it they need to update their password. But their email on file is no longer in service. So every reset my password request goes to the old email. They attempted to update their email before they got “locked out” but didn’t click the verify my email link within the 3 day limit. Now to verify their new email reddit sends an email to their old email address. They can’t update their password on the Reddit app or desktop version because it says server error every time they attempt to do so. They have reached out to Reddit about not having access to recovery email but no one has gotten back to them nor has their email been changed to the new usable email address.

Is there any thing they can do? Anyone else encounter these issues before? Should they just give up and make a new account? Thanks for any help!

Server error

I keep getting an error, and if you look at my account from another account, it says "This account has been s------d". What should I do? My comments are not displayed by other people and my posts are not published. The error occurred even before I wrote anything on the new account.

Is there no place to copy a username from to use for a mention?

Any way to copy and paste a user name so I can use it for a mention or does it have to be manually entered?

I’m on iOS if it matters

Karma Can someone explain what the point of the current version of the award system is good for? Why waste money to give an award on here?

I’ve been given a couple of awards already but I don’t understand why anyone would want to pay reddit for the ability to give what is essentially a super upvote. I’ve gotten awards for stuff that shouldn’t have even gotten them 🙃

Reddit isn't safe for kids or minors and most DNS servers can't block adult content on here.

Reddit should put all NSFW content under a different url like nsfw.reddit.com/r/adultsubreddit so it would make it easier to block via DNS.
