How To Raise Bounty/5 Gem Quests in CMM? A: If they aren’t event related, they are bounty quests; you finish them over time by completing events and you can’t rush them

I am fairly new to the game and I don't have tomes to get sockets on my units. It looks like people are saying we get sockets frequently. Is this through events or throw farming?

Both but most comes from farming

Like the next thing after Treasure Map is gonna be Kizuna you beat bosses then you get tickets use those tickets and get random goodies and since tomes are a common item you'll get a bunch of those

Tomes do drop frequently, it's just that as a new player you need a ton of them so they disappear quickly from your box.

There are a few places to get extra tomes: in story mode, the Challenge quests give 10 tomes as a rewards for first clear (it can only be done once, and you need to clear each story island first to unlock those challenge quests, and it works for the challenge quests added at Water Seven and after but I'm not sure about the earlier islands). Every month, the Garp Challenges Round 1-15 gives some tomes, they can be cleared even by a beginner (check the Chopperman missions to see which rounds give them, it's something like 7, 10 and 12).

Also whenever you can it can be worth it to use dupes of a character instead of tomes. What I mean is doing the Rookie recruitment quests. If you want to give sockets to a Law, Luffy, Sanji, Usopp or Nami units (there are others but those are the most common), you can farm the corresponding quest for 15 stamina on 3x stamina in the Rookie recruitment section. It will give dupes, turtles and player xp, all very useful to a recent player. It's boring so it's the kind of thing you do on Auto while doing something else. For max XP use the special anni ship, a FC Jack and for your captain, either your own legend Jack, RR STR Neptune or f2p Colo Neptune.
