Electronic A dark band from the UK inspired by the Depeche Mode, Memorybank
15 or 16 years ago, there was a bootleg of the DM called "On Solo Ways" in which contained supposed demos of the members of the DM of the 80’s. Among the 19 songs, 3 stand out for belonging to the same group: Memorybank, a musical group from Southampton that was active during the summer of 1987.
The 3 songs of Memorybank (Treadmill Of Time, Chart Rundown and Here To Have Fun) somehow arrived on an American/English radio and were played live. I would like to know from the Fans Modes here if anyone knows anything about the radio in which played these 3 songs or if they recognize the voice of the announcer. Somehow the songs from Memorybank got on this radio and the announcer believed it was Alan Wilder’s demos. If anyone recognizes or knows anything about the radio station on which they played the songs, please contact me.
The members are: Tim Addy (keyboardist), Jonathan Lewis (vocalist and songwriter), Nik Lawrence (vocalist) and Simon Gorman.
The alleged radio broadcast where they played Memorybank’s songs
"Treadmill Of Time" being erroneously attributed to Depeche Mode

Redditor Made I used to play in a post-hardcore band back in the day, these days I make alternative hip-hop on my own. This song combines the two eras and tells the story of the first 🤘😎

Billy Nicholls — “Feeling Easy”
Another installment of gorgeous UK pop psych from Billy Nicholls, who gifted us with one of, if not the, greatest “lost” albums of the ’60’s. “Whatever made swinging London swing is captured in these tracks.”

Peter & the Wolves — “Lantern Light”
Oh man, does John Pantry kick *ss. OK, since he later embarked on a notable career in Christian music and broadcasting, let me just say “Hallelujah” for John Pantry. A singer and songwriter for the ages. Here is a “[f]antastic song” that he wrote, “a lost gem if ever there was one. . . . [b]rilliant”, a “tuneful psych pop creation[]”.
