Primary turbo? Was there a twin turbo version of this car?

Yes the legacy GT, TT I'm in new Zealand but you can google legacy GT TT, you can have a read up.

I'll have to check it out. The states didn't get any TT EJs as far as I know. Being a small displacement engine, I never really understood the reason for a TT set up, from an engineering perspective.

Ah, I see. They got rid of TT when the fourth gen Leggy came out. That's interesting, I kind if wanted the diesel version of the outback when I found out that was a thing that happened.
