Rigs T300RS GT with Logitech GDF Shifter and AliExpress analog USB handbrake on PS5.

I upgraded my old G920 (with rasolut1on) to a T300RS GT mainly for GT7 and PSVR2 and wanted to share the result in case others are in a similar position.

Took a bit of effort but I managed to get it all working perfectly via custom firmware on an RP2040 Zero and the DIN6 I²C connector on the wheel base. The handbrake even supports all analog levels in GT7 without any modifications to the wheel, shifter or handbrake.

The shifter also supports changing from H-Pattern to Sequential by pushing down the reverse switch and quickly selecting 3rd then 5th. An RGB LED shows the current mode (blue for sequential, green for H-Pattern) I used a wrist band for when in sequential mode to centre the shifter which is easily removed for H-Pattern mode.

I just need to 3D print a nice case and tidy up the wiring a bit and I'm done.

Will you be sharing the process and codes? Someone did for custom wheels for thrustmaster, g29 and the dd pro.

Did you save money after buying all the stuff needed? I was thinking about making my own sequential shifter, button box and handbrake for thrustmaster products (maybe others too) with a ps5 controller with bad drifting

I'm happy to share whatever info you need? It's very much built for what I needed but could be adapted to other ideas fairly easily.

I saved enough by not having to purchase a new shifter, handbrake and sim hub to allow me to get a T300 instead of a T248 and just use my existing peripherals. Also the added bonus of being able to program the peripherals how I want.

The parts list and maybe the code you wrote?

I'm not even sure how the process goes as DIY where coding is involved im lost.

I personally don't need it (at least for now) but it'd be helpful for many TM users.

This person helps out with such stuff.
