i really want britini or whatever off the show. her presence irritates me. my paternal grandmother (also mormon) would constantly put finding a man (cuz in that crazy faith she thought she couldnā€™t go to the top level of heaven without one ). traumatized my dad and his siblings and he spread that trauma to me by giving me a controlling mother. the second my grandmother left that evil church she was a great mom and put them first. it was just too late.

I was raised Mormon. On my 16th birthday my mother sat me down and said I should start thinking about getting married. That's when I refused to set foot in a church ever again. This shit rots people's brains.

iā€™m sorry, my mom isnā€™t mormon and my dad is an ex mormon but i still got married at 20šŸ˜‚ you can take the girl out of utahā€¦ but yeah my grandma told me horrific stories. one of her sisters killed herself cuz she couldnā€™t go to level one heaven. itā€™s sick how the women are raised.

yeah that church has levels. like iā€™m not mormon plus im brown (all browns have the ā€œskin of cainā€) so im on the slave level of momo heaven. my great great great whatever grandpa was josephā€™s smiths bff and that gets me nada.

no my white ex mormon dad married a mexican and i have brown skin which ironically means your black in utah. when jen shah said ā€œin utah if you are not white youre blackā€.. i felt seen.

My fourth great grandfather was pals with Joe too! Maybe our ancestors were buds after they escaped to Utah to continue their sex cult. OR we have the same mormon ancestors.

They were! Mine a man named Milo Andrus. He led three treks and had 11 wives and 54 children. I share this information as my fun fact when I meet new people lol
