PIII 1GHz, 440BX, V3 3500TV, AWE64 Gold and Dreamcast via VGA @ Sony G400

Gf got me the LTT screwdriver, grandma got me the Corsair DIY kit and 2 years before my mom bought me the Ifixit repair kit all for Christmas

This just happened in the last few hours, it was completely fine this morning but now there is a whole colony living inside the display. Any way I could lure them out?

Already put on a white screen on 100% brightness to see if it bothers them and tried lightly tapping the display to make them figure out this is not a good home. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Were you able to save the monitor?

My son just turned 16 and lives with his mother since he is 3 yrs old.

I don't get to see him that much (mostly because of his extracurriculars and stuff teenagers do) but we managed to have a real strong relationship. Mostly because I identify as gamer dad. I started out in the early 90's building PCs as a kid back then -nostalgia kicks in

So it's not a sad story here and today we're gonna build his first PC -Christmas gift from me to him, after him having a Laptop for some years now. The Laptop has a mobile GTX 980 and it's an Asus Tuf.

This build was planned with some upgrading capabilities (CPU mostly) so he can start getting into it, learn about building, why something might need upgrading, bang for the buck, $ / fps etc.

It's gonna be used for 1080p gaming.

Radeon Sapphire 7900 Nitro + XTX, how is this possible? well it’s only because i found it in a amazon liquidation store, no clear pictures of it because i was so stoked to see if it worked or not and it did thankfully, have had it for 4 days now and all my graphics are AMAZING, upgraded from a RX 580 previously.
