Some of these will NEVER happen, especially the lvl 90+ exp one. They want lvl 100 to feel like an achievement that very few players will get.

We're 20 days in and we don't have a SINGLE person on lv 100.

It clearly needs an adjustment, nobody need lv 100 for their build to work but getting to 95 should be a possibility.

What part of this comment do you guys misunderstood for "I want to get to lv 100 in the first week of the game?" Like for fuck's sake.

fwiw I think Poe2 has many many problems, maybe even some fundamental ones that are unfixable until they change their design philosophy, but... I dont think the lvl 100 grind is one of them. I've never gotten lvl 100 in Poe1 and it's still goated. Gotten many to 95-97 though, so maybe that's a more reasonable compromise

me too on PoE1 and it should stay like that on that game but PoE1 is a fast game, idk if it's really like that but it shouldnt have the xp rate at all, because for me it seems it's the same xp for level 100 when PoE2 is way slower.

It took Havoc over 74 PLAYING DAYS to get the first ever lvl 100 on poe1. They've always wanted lvl 100 to be a massive achievement.

hard disagree.

it was always a grind to get to level 100 in D2 LOD and in Poe1 until like harbinger league.

making it trivial to get level 100 imo does nothing to improve the game.

however, I wish poe2 had more group play opportunities, which would work well with the potential slower more methodical pace of play if GGG can get that more balanced out.

Thats one of the few design choices I agree with tbh. I have a bunch of 100s in poe 1 and hitting 100 basically means reroll or quit the league. The soft level cap should be easily achievable for most players and hard cap should be incredibly difficult.

The only thing I want is to 95 to be a possibility.

95 is possible tho, even with a few deaths here and there. Have tried to stop dying? I’m not memeing, ever since I started consciously thinking about NOT walking top of rares to pick up the shitty Exalt drop immediately I stopped dying. Basically flew from 75-92. Sure it gets slower after that but even at 94 the exp is totally fine, running breach t15s/t18s.

I'm playing bloodmage with 6k HP and 3K ES I'm not dying that's not the problem. (I said I was 91 and I had 70% when I made this post I'm 92 now it took around 8+ HOURS to get 30% to level up)

It shouldn't take 200h+ to get to lv 95 that's INSANE.

I obviously can’t tell what kind of maps you are running, or what your clear speed is, these can all affect this ofc, I can only speak from my experience. I’m getting around 1-2.5% per map at 94, and it takes about 5 minutes to clear a map with breaches, much less otherwise. So 30% XP would be a couple hours at best. 8 hours for 30% doesn’t sound right, but again, your clear speed could be vastly different from mine or others.
