Discussion Show theft in masjid

My Husband’s shoes were stolen from the local Masjid today at Friday prayer. I tried to console him that the person may have accidentally taken his shoes, but my Mom told me it’s commonplace in Pakistan to have shoes stolen during prayer. My Husband ended up walking home barefoot, in the rain and cold.

I’m wondering why the Masjid’s in Pakistan haven’t thought of a solution to the shoe theft problem if it’s commonplace there?

People wear to the masjid, what they were wearing to work, or what they were wearing for a business meeting.

We could also look at how what you said as victim shaming.

It’s the same way people question women’s clothing and choices rather than look at the perpetrator.

This Hadith makes sense, when talking about general responsibilities. But unfortunately you have to take your shoes off for prayer, and instead on helping this discussion, you are bringing a quote from Hadith that would make sense, if we didn’t have to take our shoes off for prayer.
