What’s that one scene where you say “you had to be there” to someone who never experienced it in theaters?

Who’s a movie or TV character that’s fully aware they’re evil, but believes they are “necessary evil”?
Tywin Lannister from Game of Thrones is one of the first that comes to mind for me! He is fully aware that his malicious actions destroy lives, but he is prime example of someone who lives with the mindset that “the ends justify the means.”

Matthew Lillard
I feel Matthew is one of the best comedic actors of our generation. However, based on his acting in Scream, I think we missed out on the opportunity of watching him crush some serious/ action/ drama roles. What are your thoughts? Am I wrong? Was he meant for comedy alone?

Best of all Wahlberg’s acting? Donnie Wahlberg in The Sixth Sense (1999).

The Jimmy Hoffa disappearance may be the most justified crime the Mafia ever committed. How dare he use an ethnic slur.
The Irishman is phenomenal. My favorite scene from the movie.

Mrs. Doubtfire is a weird movie
So I got to choose a movie to watch with the kids (9, 13 and 15) and decided to show them a childhood classic. Mrs. Doubtfire.
That movie was a hell of a lot weirder then I remember.
I remember Pierce Brosnan being the bad guy but honestly the guy didn’t do anything wrong and is mostly the victim of Robin Williams.
And the part in the restaurant with Robin Williams telling him he has to compete with a vibrator which pounds like a jackhammer. WHAT KIND OF KIDS MOVIE IS THIS!? 😂
I mean the kids liked the movie so mission accomplished but damn the 90’s were something else.

What’s a horror movie you’d consider to be a hidden gem?
For me, it’s The Reflecting Skin.
This film has wonderful cinematography, a gorgeous atmosphere, and a beautiful soundtrack.
The story is absolutely bone-chilling, and very nicely executed.
I definitely think it deserves more recognition.

Ryan Gosling...talented actor or just movie star, or both? What do you think?

One of the best love stories of all time.
One of my favorite movies of all time because every time I watch it I feel like I’ve peeled off a new layer. The depth and yet subtleness of their relationship is absolutely infatuating.
