Pain Lvl 1-3 What is this in my partners ear???? NSFW

Anyone know what this is in ear????

Partners ear has been hurting on and off lately. Sometimes he says it feels like water in his ear and makes popping noise when hiccuping or yawning. He looked in his ear with our ear device we have and this is in his ear. It doesn’t move. He put peroxide/water in his ear yesterday to help remove a lot of wax since the doctor said wax can make an ear hurt and afterwards, this sucker shown itself. He did a telehealth appointment before Christmas for a possible ear infection.

That is 100% a foreign body that needs immediate professional removal. PCP, UC, or ER ASAP. Your partner is definitely risking permanent damage. And if it gets too stuck in there, it may have to be removed under general anesthesia, which means a much, much larger bill and higher risk in the end.

Personally, I think it's a seed or seed pod of some sort.

He works outside and hunts weekly so that would make sense.

Keep in mind seeds sprout in moist environments. Please don't wait on this. If that thing sprouts, it's a much bigger deal to safely remove.

It looks like a seed, it’s not something that needs to be dealt with out of hours but should probably be removed under a microscope. Make an apt with an ear cleaning place or see your family doctor for a referral to ENT
