No Pain Burning in my Fingertips (21M) NSFW

For the past few days I’ve had a burning sensation in my fingertips that has come and gone, the burn isn’t so extreme that it’s painful but it’s enough to where it can’t be ignored.

It appeared shortly after I handled some fresh chili peppers where I was cutting up getting seeds and juices over my hands, at that point I played it off as just irritation from the chili’s but it persisted into the next day. On Christmas the burning disappeared completely but now today it came back but now only in my index and thumb, the burning is also now more intense borderlining on being actually painful.

Could anyone shed some light on this? Is it irritation or could it be something a little more serious that I should get checked out?

Yes...my sister cut a bunch of chili peppers over the summer and she was in alot of pain. It finally went away after 10days! There were a bunch of different home remedies ppl were telling. I can't remember all of them. She said the best one that worked for her was just soaking them in ice water as often as she could each day. Suddenly the burning just stopped!

My sister said the same thing!! Lol...she said she had made stuffed peppers for years and she got the same type of hot peppers she always gets at the farmers market down the road. Turns out the farmer himself didn't realize he grew a different variety that year! A much hotter pepper that looked the same! But anyway, it will just go away on its own eventually! Don't touch your eyes tho!
