Still living at home, in the basement.

Work EST hours remotely. Was engaged and living in LA at one point. Now surf or ski every day. This is better.

And I'm completely lost on what to buy. I have a dark brown leather sofa coming in but otherwise nothing else. I think I need to buy something for underneath the TV, a couple comfortable chairs, and maybe something in the connected reading corner but no clue what looks good.

And yes, that TV is definitely mounted too high. The apartment has outlets installed high on the wall, for my convenience… which means this as low as the TV can sit and still hide the outlets. Open to ideas on how to make that look better.

Living in Miami, it was my mancave as it did not have any great views, but at least it stayed cooler. I now live in the suburbs and the unit is being rented.

Some of you will remember my story over the past 2 years going from staying in a temp shelter, to a stable homless shelter with my own bed. To my very first apartment! It's been a long journey, one that has lasted a lot longer than I was homless for. But for once l can finally say, "I'm home!"

Home! That's a word I haven't said since I was 11 or 12 years old. I never had a stable place to live to call it home. But I do here. And if I'm being honest, the amount of love and support you guys and gals gave me during this hard time helped tremendously.

And to all those who helped out food wise, financial or sent gifts, it's been pivotal in making this place feel like home.

Still filling out some odds and ends and getting ready to hang some art but madly and hopelessly in love with the new place already.
