Kurdistan Political observers from Helebce: "While the Turkish occupation intensifies its attacks on Rojava, the KDP has closed the Fayş Xabur border gate, which is located on the border between Rojava and Başur, to humanitarian aid. The officials of the Kurdistan Region only think about their own interests."

Ask Kurds What’s happening to alawites in Syria? How have minorities been getting treated since hts took power?
I wanted to post this on Syriancivil war sub, but I don’t want to get raided by Tukish and baathis bots. However I would love Syrians perspectives on this.
I went on x and searched up alawites and saw some pretty gruesome stuff like executions and beating, allegedly done by hts. I also saw a video where a hts man threaten to kill Kurds and alawites. One video that was the most disturbing was a video of a lot of young and old men, being tied up together. However I don’t speak Arabic so I can be wrong, I also see people saying this happens during Assad, or was sna. In those videos I saw on X people were saying they are trying to remove alawites men, to force the women to be with Sunni Arabs. Saddam did this too in Kirkuk if I am not mistaken?
Are minorities being persecuted by hts? why does it seem alawites getting the most hate?

Discussion Petition to change the blue background color of this subreddit
The background color of this subreddit is a very uncomfortable shade of blue. It looks like XNXX which is a porn site used a lot in Kurdistan. For this reason, whenever I am at work or in a public place, I cannot open this website because of embarrassment. I am assuming that many other members who live in Iraq/KRG feel the same. Not only is it similar to XNXX, it's also extremely conspicuous and stands out too much.
This is not satire at all.

Ask Kurds Looking for Books
I am looking for book suggestions, like novels, about the Kurdish culture, life, values, and stories. Particularly, the women fighters of Kurdistan interest me, but it does not have to be that specific. Thank you!

Ask Kurds Is Ardahan Kurdish?
I've been trying to put together a accurate map of kurdistan and I'm confused on Ardahan. I heard that the Göle district holds most kurds but I'm not sure how much they are in all of Ardahan and if they dominate the province. Can someone help me with unbiased information

Kurdistan Can we have independence country away from Middle East
I mean just like Israel they came from nowhere and they have their own nation. Why not Kurd make nation but in some where in world away from Middle East since it’s impossible to have autonomy between these four bad boys always bullying us for no reason.
