Mobile/App Reddit Community Links fail on Android

Search a community, copy the link, post it into a message, fails with "Community Not Found"

E.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/t5_2vifh/s/MZ9oiRSxF3

That's supposed to lead to OverEaters Anonymous

Fails with multiple community Links.

Not sure the platform is relevant. Did not test elsewhere.

The above link comes when we go to the community page, hit the overflow menu (three dots to right), take the overflow menu on that page then select Copy Link.

I'm not asking about platforms.

I'm not asking how to find a community.

I'm asking why a link provided by Reddit doesn't work on Reddit.

The goal is to provide a link to another Redditor either in a post or a PM.

I'm not asking about an alternative/'better' way of doing that.

I'm asking why this particular method doesn't work.

Going to the community page, hitting the overflow menu, taking the overflow menu on that page, then selecting Copy Link, gave me this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/OvereatersAnonymous/s/mwECht3nHt

And that's not the link I was asking about.
