It's crazy that the epstein docs were released over a week ago and I have not heard 1 news report about it at all

What you’re thinking of wasn’t released a week ago. It was released years ago and was covered at the time. The thing that was released a little over a week ago didn’t have anything to do with Trump, someone on Twitter just confused the two sets of documents and went viral and now everyone thinks that these new docs are the ones from years ago

The worst part about pointing this out on reddit is people just automatically assume you're some maga nut.

The Democrats here are acting in very similar ways to the maga people they've been making fun of for a decade now. Any criticism is weakening the movement and must be silenced. If it's an attack on Trump, it doesn't need to be entirely correct. If the media narratives don't match social media narratives, it's because of a conspiracy. Many are quick to denounce people with different views as Russian trolls or some imagined idea of a Bernie voter who didn't vote for Hillary 8 years ago.

You mean the thousands of posts about 2025 the day after the debate wasn't organic? Shocked face

Yeah I’ve been saying people freaking out over project 2025 made fun of qanon people a few years ago.

2

u/3to20CharactersSucks Jul 13 '24

Those aren't even a little equivalent. Qanon was an incredibly easy to falsify shit post on 4chan. Project 2025 is a proposed agenda by the heritage foundation, a well funded mainstream Republican think tank that you would absolutely know of if you even pay a little attention to politics. You are an example of what I mean. No facts, no research, just what feels good to you and smug bullshit. Learn. Don't talk until you have, because this constant muddying of the waters is only harmful. "Don't spout bullshit," isn't exactly asking much of a person.

Nah you can block me if you don’t want to see what I have to say other than that. Eat 💩

Bud, you're a guy in your late twenties that posted a grotesque poorly taken pic of your little lumpy dick to Reddit to try to get laid. I don't need to block you to disregard what you say, no one listens to you in the first place.

Awh you’re a fan. Did you take your meds today?

Thank you for this moment of clarity that most of reddit will promptly ignore because it doesn't enable them to be properly outraged.

Also, the Joe Biden story is more than "one bad debate night". Personally, I'd be energized by some new talent challenging Joe for party leadership but it doesn't look like it will happen this year. I've now fully prepared myself for a Trump 4 year term. Thanks, Joe!

Biden's mental health absolutely is a story... but the real story is why we have two geriatric candidates. Both are in cognitive decline. One is a criminal that styles himself a dictator with an publicly available policy plan that includes rolling back decades of social progress. It's a fucking shitshow.

2

u/MovingTarget- Jul 12 '24

true enough - but the Democrats have an opportunity to change that story but have a collective action problem. No one wants to stick their neck out. The media is doing their part to make it easier for democratic leaders to challenge Biden by promoting the story.

u/uglyspacepig Jul 12 '24

You are not fully prepared

2

u/MovingTarget- Jul 12 '24

fair enough

1

u/uglyspacepig Jul 12 '24

Tbh... I have no idea how you would prepare. Underground bunker? A couple decades worth of food? Move out of the country? Learn to live on floating kelp?

Thanks for the explanation. I just read the new docs and was confused about what it had to do with Trump as I couldn’t find his name anywhere in them.

Well that’s not entirely true. There were two pieces of paper from some message book basically saying “Donald Trump called, wants a callback.” That would be absolutely damning for Trump supporters if it had anyone else’s name on it. But that is the extent of the new info and how it relates to Trump.

Now the old rape allegations are filling in for “we don’t have anything new and solid on Epstein and Trump” as well as “we need to make Biden look better somehow.

The same two missed call memos covered in this article from 2019?

Yeah, there's no new info.

Thanks I hadn’t seen it before and thought that was new. So yeah apparently nothing new about Trump.

I legitimately never have seen this and I browse /r/politics and the Reddit frontpage weekly. I'm assuming you're right, but the real question is: why does it matter when they were released outside of semantics, questions, and quizzes? Being right? The dude deserves to have this constantly brought up for the rest of his life.

Yup, similar to Project 2025.
