That is complicated because you’d need to know a bit of lore about the anime Dragonball to get the full context over. Basically think of it as the soul of the man being turned into an egg and being rebirthed from his old body. His old shell is turned to dust but he is still the original guy.
Okay see that’s the part I was trying to grasp. I know it’s OC and I wasn’t sure if it was an original idea that was contributing to the human -> egg situation or a reference to something I was missing. The dragonball reference is chefs kiss - you know what I’m saiyen? ;)
