[PS5] NBA 2k25 or College Football 25?

Having a time trying to decide which one I should get. I see both are on sale now. I have nba 2k24 is there much difference? I don’t play the online modes I mostly do franchise modes like Mynba. Because I am definitely not paying for vc. Also interested in college football because I haven’t played a college game in awhile. Any suggestions from people who own one or both of the games?

[PC] Should i get Divinity:Original sin Enhanced edition?

I saw this game on steam for sale for 4 euros, and judging by screenshots it looks like Diablo 3,which i do enjoy playing on my PS3. I am fan or RPG games and i did play turn based RPG before, but not much. I was wondering if this game is worth buying. When it comes to RPG games i like, i think of Shadow of Mordor/War, Skyrim, Diablo etc. I did read some reviews of the game and some say it needs a lot of time to learn but i dont mind that. Thanks ahead.

[PC] Total war WH3 or Elden Ring

Hi everyone, can you help me please. I can't decide between buying one of these two or getting some cheapest games and wait for a better discount in these titles.

I'm finishing my first PC in January and already have cyberpunk and Death stranding in my backlog to play, together with other titles like ready or not. I'm thinking if it's better to pick up one big game or more varied cheapest ones (suggestions are welcome)

[PC] Poor and looking for something to play for a long time

Hi!

I got about 25 dollars for Christmas to put towards something to play on Steam.

I want something that will last for a long time and now that there's a sale I thought I'd try to hurry.

Things I've looked at and worry that I might not enjoy after a while: -from the depths (super cool but looks really hard to get into and I'm not sure it's for me) -caves of qud (I don't even know what I'm looking at) -dwarf fortress (looks really complicated)

It could be any genre, but I'd prefer if it's not pvp or one of those survival type games like ark. (I'm really bad at them and don't really have friends to carry me)

I'm a little all over the place haha but if you have any questions then ask away!

Thank you in advance!

[PS5] What is your biggest 'sleeper' game?

What is a game that you absolutely love that is not considered a 'big main title game'? Call it a guilty pleasure or something you think is just severely underrated and deserves more eyeballs on it.

I have got some time off coming up and looking to sink into something new and immerse myself into a lesser known game!

Persona 3 Reload or Final Fantasy 16

Both of these games are on discount right now and I’ve been wanting to get them for a minute

I already beat Persona 5 Royal and then went and bout Persona 4 Golden which i’ve also enjoyed a lot and the only reason i bought was because i couldn’t afford Persona 3 Reload. Now i haven’t beaten Golden yet but wanted to get Reload before it leaves the sale.

On the other Final Fantasy 16 just looks fun as hell i remember playing the long ass demo when it first dropped and had a great time with it to be honest i’ve never played in other Final Fantasy games up to this point either so what would yall get.

[SteamDeck] GTA like games

I've always been kind of a picky gamer and have trouble trying stuff since I'm afraid I won't like it and I'll just end up wasting my money. Latley I've been really wanting a GTA like game. I've heard all of the comparisons like watchdogs or Yakuza or whatever but those games never looked interesting to me. I tried mafia earlier today but had to basically instantly refund it since it just kept causing issues for my steam deck. So here's what I'm looking for is there any game that does these?

  1. Open world game that parodies our world and culture ( i really like games with satire and especially American satire )

  2. Great writting and characters that aren't annoying ( oh and just good jokes all together)

  3. First person ( this one isn't crucial but I do prefer FPS )

  4. Can run on steam deck ( as long as there's some way to jerry rig it to make work that's fine )

  5. Isn't boring ( so many games these days are just 6 hours of people talking to you as you walk or drive to the objective then you press B 4 times then mission over. I want actual gameplay where I'm not forced to have a conversation with some schmuck NPC ) I like games with story but I like games with gameplay way more. I love cyberpunk 2077 but those parts where you are stuck hearing someone talk for 20 minutes drive me crazy I can't stand it and I really don't want a game that does that it isn't fun

  6. Not medieval i want a game that takes place in atleast bare minimum the past 60 years so 1960 is the cut off for how far I wanna go for a games setting. I want to atleast be able to drive around and listen to music

  7. Music. I want a game with amazing music whether licensed or in house made

[PC] Idk what to do/buy

I keep seeing a game called the classrooms on tiktok and it looks fun but then there's also phasmophobia on sale and idk which is better to buy. Phasmophobia is $15 rn and the classrooms is $8, Id but both if I could but I only have $20. Which one is better in yalls opinion? Phasmophobia looks fun to play but looks like its better with friends but both my gaming friends play on Xbox and the classrooms looks fun but doesn't seem like it has a goal, it just looks like you have to walk around and not die.

[PC] Should I purchase these games on steam sale (Like a dragon Infinite wealth, Master Deceive Archives Rain code, Oxenfree 2, YS Origins, Zankai Zero) or wait longer?

So for the last few months I've been waiting for a heavier sale for some games. Now that steam sale has been here for a week. I was actually looking forward to spending some money on some games. However, I'm not entirely sure if it will be better to wait even longer for deeper discount or on gamepass (my gamepass sub doesn't end for another year) for games like Infinite Wealth?

Last year I purchased Judgement and played it immediately. However I am currently playing through a long jrpg and I still got a lot left in it. Personally, I feel it's in me to get one or two games as I did last year. My problem is that I have a big backlog that I have built over the years. Gaming is one of my bigger hobbies so I do put money into it. I was hoping to get a gift card for steam so I didn't have to think. However, that didn't happen therefore I am just wondering what would be best to do epically with so many good games released last year.

I think mostly it's just me seeing so many flashy deals and wanting to get something but knowing that I just have too much games that if I don't tackle the ones I have now. I won't be able to do so (and the cycle repeats). Moreover I am very stingy (or try to be stingy when it comes to buying anything.

I guess the main problems I have currently are;

  1. Do I put money into games that might come onto gamepass later (even though I've been waiting a year)
  2. Should I spend some money for the games even though I won't be playing them until later.

Edit spelling mistakes for the titles;

Zanki Zero, Master Detective Archives Rain code

[PC] Cyberpunk 2077 or Fortnite V-Bucks

Haha, I'm debating whether to save up for the Hatsune Miku skin that's set to be released in Fortnite this January or go ahead and purchase Cyberpunk 2077. What do you think? On one hand, I would love to finally play Cyberpunk 2077, and on the other hand, I just want to rock a Hatsune Miku look while bashing people's heads.

I need more Story games to play but I have no idea what.

I've played many story games, my top ten are definitely

  1. RDR2

  2. Detroit: Become Human

  3. Ghost of Tsushima

  4. God of War

  5. God of War Ragnarok

  6. Spiderman 2

  7. Spiderman

  8. Spiderman: Miles Morales

  9. Watchdogs 2

  10. Assassins Creed 3

I didn't like TLOU, I found it had way too much stealthily killing zombies in buildings, it was so boring, I really wanna play something like Ghost of Tsushima, full of action, great story, good graphics, interesting genre. However I have no idea what to play, can anyone give suggestions?

[PS5] BG3 X Witcher 3

Asking for advice: I’ve played TW3 some years ago and absolute loved it, been wanting to replay it on my PS5. Also Been playing Veilguard and I’m totally disappointed, man I had my hopes so high as a die hard dragon age fan. I haven’t found any game I loved as much as TW3 (except for RDR2). This said, I’m constantly reading about BG3, but I’m very unsure about it because whenever I watch gameplay videos I’m afraid the mechanics will make me lose interest (never played any D&D). So, what’s your take: should I take BG3 or should I reinvest in TW3 for ps5?

[Other] My friend is looking for free games on Steam to stream to their phone using steam link.

The games need to be multiplayer, and be able to have only two players at a time and perhaps have a single player mode as well, but the most important part is the multiplayer.

Their phone is low end so I'm asking about games that would be suitable for their device.

The specs of their phone are as follows:

2 gb ram, Android 12 go edition, quad core 1.4 gigahertz & resolution 720 x 1440

Computer specs:

Windows 10, nvidia GeForce GTX 750 ti, AMD fx 4300 quad core 3.8 gigahertz

The computer is about 10 years old, hence why the specs are so far behind modern PCs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[PS5] Should I buy Astro Bot or Alan Wake 2?

I got a $25 PSStore gift card for Christmas, wondering if I should get Astro Bot ($50 rn) or Alan Wake 2 ($30) - I love horror movies but not as into horror games. I may add games like Cuphead ($18), Nine Sols ($30) or Prince of Persia The Lost Crown ($20), but for the big name not sure whether Astro Bot or Alan Wake 2 is the move.

[PS5] Street Fighter 6 for a newcomer?

I really wanna get into a solid fighting game, played a little bit of Tekken when I was younger.

SF6 is around 25$ and I have heard good things about it. That you can choose between a Classic and a Modern control scheme, which gives you some options when it comes to being new to the genre.

I am a complete noob, so it would be nice to get a fighting game that’s beginner friendly.

Do you know any underrated grinding PvP games?

It doesn’t have to be underrated I’m just trying to find some new grinding PvP games I haven’t played. I’m tired of all the main stream games and I know it’s kinda tough to find good PvP games. It can be a shooter, fighter, etc I just wanna play something different. Also the grinding can be pretty much anything like for levels, rank, loot, etc.

[PS5] Final fantasy XVI or final fantasy rebirth?

Ok so both games are on sale right now, I can only afford one tho, I'm mainly looking for the game that has the better gameplay and I mean:

Combat system. Exploration Epic battles Mechanics of the game (puzzles, secret chests all that stuff) And the most important thing, replayability I want the game that has the potential to keep me playing multiple times.

If someone could help I would absolutely appreciate it. Also I have played remake

[PC] Which game should I buy? Tekken 8 or Call of Duty Black Ops 6?

I'm unsure about my purchase because I love both franchises. I have around 4-5 cod games already and I already have 2 tekken games on my pc as well. It's like leaning more so towards cod rn because my friend recently got it and he's been asking me to get it as well. Also, at the same time everyone's saying cod bo6 is terrible so I'm kinda just stuck

[Xbox One] Should I buy Assassin's Creed Origins?

Hello, I'm huge fan of Assassin's Creed series and Xbox offers in Microsoft store Assassin's Creed Origins Deluxe edition for a very good price but as it is deluxe edition it doesn't come with DLC... Do you guys think is worth buying it or should I wait for another promotion like gold edition or season pass? I'm definitely going to buy this game anytime, is it worth buying now or should I wait for a more "complete" version? (Also sorry for the writing English is not my native language)

[PC] Between a couple of games (max $100)

Hey everyone! After a long year of battling workers comp and just now learning I will have to have double amputation next week, it’s VERY rare I get to buy myself something because I support a wife and 10 month old son on workers comp checks so this is a big deal to me. I think I’m between Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, Starwars Outlaws, or Baldurs Gate 3. I’m just looking for everyone’s opinion on them to see how others like them. Thank you!!

[PC] [WSIB] Deep Rock Galactic. Which bundle should I buy (if any) if I don't care at all about cosmetics?

I'm thinking of purchasing Deep Rock Galactic. There are several bundles available on Steam with a bunch of different DLC.

Are any of the bundles worth purchasing as a new player? I don't really care about cosmetics. I'm only really interested in bundles if they contain actual items or upgrades that might be useful but it looks like most (if not all) the DLC is cosmetics.

Would any of the bundles be worth me purchasing? Or should I just go with the base game as a new player?

[PC] Hades II or Last Epoch?

My brother gifted me a steam card and I was curious which of the two I should get, I REALLY liked the diablo IV demo for what I've played of it, and i know LE is a very similar game, and I've played Hades already and absolutely adore it, so I'm really in a bind, would love to know other people's opinions and thoughts. I'm only able to get one atm, thanks!
