Recommendation Best place to sell jewelry?
I have an old engagement ring that I’d like to sell and am trying to find the best place in town. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations? Thanks!

We will be allowing limited commercial advertising/promotion on Fridays. This is mainly intended to highlight new businesses in the community that may be of interest to members.
The new rule reads:
"Promotion of businesses is allowed only on Fridays. Posts about special events, band announcements, and pet adoptions with reasonable fees are permitted any day of the week. Classifieds, item sales, personal fundraisers (e.g., GoFundMe), and surveys are not allowed without prior mod approval."

I’m on the hunt for a good spot where I can train using stairs for cardio. Back in the day, running stadium stairs was my go-to workout, and I’m hoping to find something similar in Rock Hill or any surrounding areas.
Does anyone know of a stadium, park, or other area with a good set of stairs that’s accessible to the public? Thanks in advance!

I live in the university area and the only thing that I’m not a fan of is the lack of fiber internet. I’m not complaining that it’s bad for downloads. I have gigabit download speeds and it works perfect for me(whenever the router Comp. gave me decides to work, but that’s another topic lol), but my upload speeds are definitely not where it’s at since every neighborhood within spitting distance of Winthrop is still on cable internet with no signs of getting an upgrade anytime in the near future. For context on why I care, I’m an IT guy who is definitely a tech enthusiast in his off hours, so when I’m away from home and need to get a file or watch a show/movie off my home server, it takes a while to grab said files or the playback quality isn’t great because my upload speed is only 5-10% of what my download speed sits at.
I keep seeing signs around the city where AT&T is slowly moving in from the north with their internet, but all I’ve seen so far is their “AirFi” internet that works off of their cellular modems and that’s not it for me even if I wanted to switch to them. Is there any idea then from anyone on whether I’ll be getting fiber in my neck of the woods?

Hello all,
So, I currently live in Montana. Prior to here I lived in North Carolina for over a decade. I miss the east coast immensely and want to move back. I've got a few close friends that live in/around Rockhill. So naturally that is at the top of my list.
Im a single mother, financial professional. Budget of 650-700k. What are some safe neighborhoods/areas with good schools I should focus my search on? I've been told Fort Mill is nice but very congested. I'd like to avoid that as best as possible. Thanks for any recommendations and feel free to PM me as well with any other recommendations or areas!
Edit thank you all for the feedback so far.
I've also been recommended Indian Land? Any insight there?
Second edit thanks so much to everyone that reached out, commented, and messaged. I have received so much great information and it's immensely helpful!! 😊

Hi! I really appreciated all your dentist recs! My mom just moved here also and wants to know a plumber recommendation & a contractor rec.
Also, does anyone know somewhere local you can take in old photos to be restored? Google is not being very helpful.
Thank you!!

Could anyone who works at the hospital tell me what scrubs colors they require or if it's just what you want to wear?

To start this off, I’m not a network or IT professional. I work in data which requires me to connect to a server when I work from home, thus requiring me to connect to my company’s VPN. Below are some of the details of the connection/issue.
At home: Comporium fiber 600/600 I have their modem but an eero router At office: AT&T fiber (unknown speed) VPN: CiscoAnyconnect (unsure what other details may be helpful)
Starting in October, any time I connect to the VPN, after about 15 minutes I am disconnected; however, it doesn’t state I’m disconnected, I can no longer reach websites or send messages or emails but I do not disconnection from calls and I can still receive messages. This happened regardless if I am on wifi or connected via ethernet cable. I can have another computer connected to the internet and playing a live stream with no interruptions.
I have reached out to my company’s IT team and they have done a number of things including updating the network drivers but beyond that I don’t know. They blame Comporium.
I have called Comporium and they said they have had this happen with customers before but it tends to be on the VPN side of things.
So right now it’s kind of a standoff where no one is willing to do anything but point fingers at the other. I am unwilling to accept there’s no way to fix this issue so I am open to any suggestions. Also if there’s a subreddit you think I would be better off posting this to, lmk.
Thanks in advance.

Hi all - I live in Florida but a relative lives in Rock Hill. I would love to get them a flower subscription to be delivered monthly.
I would much rather use somewhere local instead of a big box but am unfamiliar with the area.
Any suggestions?

Best neighborhoods for light displays? We usually do Stafford Park, but wanted to see if there were any other good ones

By far my favorite meal, can eat 30+ in a sitting with zero issue. Just moved here and I love it, will literally be the perfect place if there is a place to get soup dumplings here.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Saw/bought these items earlier this week. Not exactly critical items or for gifts, but really good prices on stuff I keep around. Anything else like this?
- The ten packs of suet for bird feeders is BOGO, so 20 for $13.99 at Tractor Supply, They had a lot yesterday, 3 types/flavors. The 40 lb bags of sunflower seeds were listed on sale at $16.99, a very good price, but actually rang up at $12.99
- Harbor Freight had 18-packs of their best AA and AAA alkaline batteries for $3.69 (20.5 cents each), same price for 4 packs of D batteries. Seemed to have plenty of stock yesterday.

Hello everyone! So there is a hockey game (Carolina Hurricanes) that is supposed to be on wbtv 3.2 (bounce tv) at 7 at night tomorrow. Living in Rock Hill, would I be able to get this if I get the channel because when I go and look on my tv, it doesn’t show it, but shows it online. Is this a mistake on my tv (dish network) or do I just not get the game? Any help would be appreciated.
