Hi guys, new player here. Anyone got a good team building guide for a beginner? Also, i'm trying to complete chopper's welcome quest but i can't seem to defeat clash! Kaido.

Is it true that if i evolve a character, the special level of that character will go back to lv.1?

The special level of a character will only go back to 1 if the special changes when it evolves, excluding super evolutions where the special changes but keeps it’s level. That won’t be the case for almost all units, the only units you’ll really see that on is story units, mainly older ones.
