Anyone notice the sugofest trial stage for Blackbeard/Katakuri has a INT Sakazuki on the team. But I cannot ever recall this unit appearing or being available for farming. Did I miss him?

But this event seemed to coincide with the super type sugo release, but we have had no news or announcement for this event yet. So I guess this is just yet to be announced. Funny considering they showcased the unit but you can't even get it.

Yup,that Sakazuki is from an event that happened with release of super types on JP. And from what i know,he alongside the Cavendish you get from this event are already downloaded into the game on Global.

Now,the reason why you don't have that event yet is that they pushed a little bit forward the release of this sugo. On JP it was after Kizuna Carrot,for Glb it's right before,so they should drop right after Carrot ends.

In retrospect i think this is a good choice by Global team,because we on JP suffered a huge content drought,with no new content to test our legends on. At least Kizuna will help with that.

In Pirate Rumble, for those who want to reach top 5000 on Block B, do we save the 3 attempts for block B or do they reset after the end of block A and we get 3 new attempts at the start of block B?

I got v1 katakuri in the last sugofest, and i would like to try his skull island to super-evolve him. There's actually a team as of right now that can beat it? All the guides i can find are from 5 months ago, and they all pretty much require a magellan that i don't have.

Don't know if the chopperman mission is still on, but if it is, then yes you can clear the Perospero manual fortnight, which is named the same and you should be able to get your gems. Only for today obviously since monday is STR day.

I quit the game when TM Kaido came out more than a year ago. Which of the TM characters since then are most useful? Any of them a must have?

Here are the notbale ones:

O-Robi(great utility),Weevil(massive attack down reducer,and under an easy condition gives everyone 2x attack boost),Vivi(definitely get her if you play on Global,big help when the Hunger debuff arrives)and Viola/Rebecca see some uses too someties.

If you play JP add to that Zoro(for fast clears of easy content) and Reiju.

This kizuna clash has raised questions on how buffs work. With the INT carrot giving us a 1.1 attack boost does that mean the attack boost I use won't go through since a current attack boost is already active? If that's the case, would that mean it's pointless to have 2 attack boosters on your team? I always thought buffs stacked. But when I heard about the complaints about sanji I was really confused why it's hated..is it the chain cap? I'm mainly confused with how buffs work.. thanks for bearing with me..I'm a fairly new player

Buffs of the same type do not stack. This typically means that team building comes down to clearing debuffs/enemy buffs, and then trying to fit and attack/orb/and type booster. You can also fit a conditional booster (like dealing 2x damage against poisoned enemies) and a chain related boost (lock or multiplier).

In this case, the 1.1 boost is effectively a debuff on you. You want to bring a 'big-mom' unit that clears your own buffs like the previous kizuna, or use the fact that buffs don't stack to your advantage by carrying one through from the previous stage.

So I have been doing the Colo Borsalino and have beat him the last 20 times. I haven't gotten a diamond (or rainbow?) chest at all. The previous colo's I've done that have the limit break orbs, have dropped for me, but this is the first time I've gone 20 straight with no diamond/rainbow chests.

Other than the LB orbs I got from completing the Chopperman mission (which is 2 I believe? Maybe 4?), that was the only time I got Borsalino's orbs. Do they even drop during the Colo quest?

Doffy has charecter specific skulls and his are only available in the Tresure Map Shop not in rays shop

Never buy skulls from the Ray shop. You can farm them. There are better things to use your Ray points on (like the LRR ticket)

What's the best thing to buy in the ray shop? Is there a priority list?

The LRR ticket, then the Legend one (as it has terrible rates). Rocketman, Dutchman and Crows are the best ships you can get. Skulls are farmable in invasions so don't bother with them.

I have done 5 multis in Luffy banner and 2 multis in Katakuri banner. I now have 60 gems. Should I do the guaranteed legend multi on Katakuri banner, or do 2 30 gem multis on Sabo and Blackbeard banner?

Please note that my sugofest has been ultra trash so far, getting only 3 new units including the guaranteed Nami & Chopper :’(

So which of these 2 options should hypothetically yield a better result?

3rd multi on V3 Kata gets you closer to a second all red. I'd reckon there should be an easy way for you to earn 90 gems until the end of the banner (19 october IIRC).

That Carrot banner is just a special banner where she is guaranteed for people who really wanted her. She’s been in the game for nearly 2 years and is always available on Sugofests or in ticket pulls, so no need to worry about her going away.

Hi So I was playing the game after successfully pulling in the sugofest , managed to get kaido (after spending $170 ) and was doing a forest of training and my phone died for good

Coming back after a long hiatus and trying to super evolve some legends. Is it now possible to get ambushed after every raid or is there still a calendar to see on which days we can get ambushed?
Any other information for a player who didn't play the last two years?

Ambush occurs on every 8* or higher 60 stamina raid in the clash collection. There were a few raids added last week ambushes didn’t occur but I’m pretty sure that was just until Sunday so it should work for all of them now.

It happened at the same timeframe on JP too,because of (at the time) anni. I guess because of all the other gems you'll be getting from events they left it out,and Global just follows suit.

It's my understanding that Chopper/Nami are not available on pts 3 and 4 as a guarantee on step 2. Two questions.

1. Can you pull them on part 3/4 as non-guarantees?

2. When the four banners reset on the 13th, can you still get the guaranteed Nami/Chopper on step 2? Or is it only right now?

There is going to be a new quest called "Treasure hunt" coming right after Kizuna which will feature this new Cavendish and the new Sakazuki (from the other quest). Originally on Jp they came out at the same time as the sugo, but they spaced things better on global.

For the new Chopper Man Rookie requests, how much are the EXP rewards? I mean the 3 EXP quests that Chopper Man gives you before you can receive the 50 gems. The first one was 250k for me.

Someone else gave me a total that implies the 3rd one is 883,000k (10.6 mil with Jack x2 + 3x ship), but I'd love a confirmation since it's not a round number like I expected.

Everyone goes to every block, the top 5k of each block go to the championship, everyone else to exhibition. The top 5k of each block isn’t exclusive, so someone can take up multiple spots of the championship by being top 5k in multiple blocks.

Is pirate rumble jozu a rare recruit?

I’m guessing they haven’t really returned because they’re worse than their counterparts now that lb is a thing, though this is only true of the older japan first neo ones. The newer global first ones are different but I can’t definitely say if they’re better or worse because they’re almost all 1.75x random class attack boosters with maybe a little more, but this started after 2x attack boosters started being a bit more common.

As far as I know neo kinemon was the most recent neo thing so maybe bandai just decided we don’t care to have them return (which I’m going to be honest, very likely that the large majority of players don’t care)

So thanks to the 9$ 50 gem sale, the coveted all red pull is actually within my grasp for the first time in my optc life. However, it's on Part 2, which leaves before I'll get a chance to. For what it is worth: 30 stamina chaos drops +2 cc and 50 stamina +3 cc

I can't really comment on the drop rates but it usually 1-2 cc each run.

There is no such event. And in case you ask, there is no such event for support medals either.

Probably colosseum, but idk which one is the best.

Well you can use Buggy that guarantees you a duplicate drop, but he has a much weaker multiplier and he could duplicate a drop that is not cotton candy. And of course there are other drop duplicators, but Buggy is the only one who guarantees it. I wouldn't recommend though because it doesn't work well with 2x stamina as the duplicated drop won't be doubled.

The drop rates are not THAT great. I don't think you can farm that much. Especially if you are in a lower league. Also Chopper and Nami have nothing to do with this. They will only help you with points which might give you a higher rank and thus better rank rewards, but the difference in rank rewards is not that big in terms of materials.

They count as the classes they are in their dual form. So Vivi/Rebecca will be cerebral/striker and won't receive any benefit that a Free Spirit would. Also in case you didn't know (I see this being asked a lot), dual units are colorless. They don't receive any benefit from type boosters.

For example I'm looking at this pirate festival sanji's support effect that boosts the captains atk when a special is used - would this stack with a other specials in that turn that boost attack?

Been rerolling for the god roll account. Finally got 2 accounts with the law/Luffy, qck g4, and Franky starts. Which is the keeper?

First account (almost done with the story/had 4-5 more pulls) also has:

Shanks Crew should be your main captain and Snakeman can still clear a lot of contents too.

Definitely Shanks Crew is your best captain,they're just ridiculous.

For subs,it's always a tough call because it really depends on content and what it does. But that QCK pudding, or Montdor on team should help you beat a lot of content.

Hi i'm a fairly new f2p player, i started to play optc 5/6 month ago, and now i don't what shoul i do. i pulled in part 1 of this new sugofest 5 times and i managed to get v2 snakeman. Now i have 230 gems ready to pull 5 times in another part but i'm not sure in which part I should pull. I have all the legends boosted in part 2 except for cracker, all the boosted legends in part 3, and i miss just shanks crew a v2 sanji in part 4 ( as well as v3 law, v3 ray and nami robin in part 1, so i started to pull there). Now, where should i pull my five 10+1s? I don't know if i should pull in part 2 just to get nami for tm, or if i should go for part 3 for bb and maybe kata v3 (if he's also boosted), or part 4 for shanks crew that i'm trying to get since his release. Sorry for the long message, but i'm so undecided.

Depends on which legends you miss.

I would check the exact rates on those multipulls, compare those, then make your decision.

Even then parts 1 and 2 will be back from Oct 13th - 19th. There is no rush to pull now.

You will also get free multipulls on Oct 6th, so there might not even be a need to pull at all.

After Block A is Block B, then Block C, then finally Championship and exhibition. If you don’t make it into championship you instead participate in the exhibition, so you aren’t locked out of playing.

hi, so today I checked out the game after a long time and saw this insane sugo fest. blasted my 1yr old gems into this and pulled some pretty insane units according to toadskiis tierlist.

some I remember being god tier from the time I used to play and some that I literally have never seen or heard of.

I'm trying to get back into the game so a little sum up of the things happening currently, what is worth farming, what kizuna/pirate rumble is, where I get these limitbreak keys, basically everything I, as a returning player, must know. the game seems fresh and updated, thanks in regards, your help is appreciated.

notable units I pulled during this sugofest: lawffy, warco, shirahoshi/mansherry, nami/robin, super type red luffy, bullet, v3 sabo, v2 doffy (remember going ham on his debut-sugo getting absolutely shafted), brook, kaido, onami, tesoro, v3 law (I think this is v3 law, psy and wano art), v3 rayleigh (same situation as v3 law xd tho i know how v1 and v2 ray looks so this gotta be v3 ray), pudding. I know, just by reading the captain abilities and specials that some of them are god tier, but are any of them like really really key to some sort of content? like shirahoshi v1 back in the day being basically irreplaceable in her niche.

Pirate rumble is PvP, you set up a team for attack and one for defense, there’s entirely set of stats and abilities and stuff for this. You boost these abilities and specials with the flags, nothing else levels it up (even dupes). When attacking you choose your enemy team you want to attack and a battle will automatically happen, when attacking you lose if everybody on your team dies or the timer goes to 0 (it’s I think 100 secs). For defense you win if you kill the enemy team or time goes to 0. All you do for defense is make a team, you don’t do anything more than that. The game will tell you if you won a defense, it won’t tell you if you were attacked and lost though.

Kizuna is a mode with tickets, tokens, and a quickly improving boss. There’s a starter stage that you beat to get tokens (it’s Pedro this time), you beat it once normal and after that you just skip it straight to the tokens. It takes stamina to run that island, there’s 5 max stamina, it regenerates 1 stamina every 2 hours so you get 5 stamina every 10 hours. You use those tokens to fight the boss. You’ll fight 3 versions of the same boss, between them it’ll change type and buffs/debuffs/reactions and generally there’s an added thing at about level 32 (it’s actually an hp threshold, that’s just the level the amount happens at). You’ll need 3 teams to beat this stuff as there’s like no chance to beat 2 of them with 1 team. The bosses increase in health over time, it’s an exponential scale so while they start at lv 1 w it’s 7.5 mil (on the hardest difficulty), lv 70 has more than 100 mil hp. The boss drops tickets on defeat, you use these tickets to get rewards (tickets also increase over time but not as fast as the boss does). Spend these tickets in the bazaar, there’s 7 boxes increasing in size generally and in those boxes you’ll get material to max lb units (not big mom kizuna though, I haven’t started on the current one so maybe not carrot either?), gems, and tickets to pull units. There are also tablets and support items in the later boxes. When you reset a box it really means it’s sending you to the next box and there’s no way back so make sure you get everything you want before resetting (you can check what is left). You can farm box 7 infinitely.

There are 3 kinds of limit break keys, rr ones (silver), tm ones (blue), and legend ones (gold). As far as I know you only get gold and blue from tm and that’s mostly from the new world, no idea on lower leagues drops. Silver ones come from garp challenges which are hard stuff that you have to beat with specific team makings (like all 1 class or color, you can combine those though to make it a bit faster). Key lb is super expensive, tm ones are the cheapest because it’s just extra lb stuff from the tm unit’s color, but for rrs and legends it requires a lot from every color of lb material.

Currently we’re getting Japan’s 6th anni units in the sugo, kizuna carrot, colo Kizaru, and raid kaido for new stuff. The pinned comment has good stuff to farm in it like raids and what tm units are worth getting when you get tickets to buy older units with.

You got some really good units, ones that are generally unreplaceable in teams like I assume you were asking with the hoshi example are warco, shiraman, and Brook from the list you gave. The others are of course not really replaceable but for the most part their abilities are fairly generic so a bit easier to change teams to do other stuff. Warco’s swap allows you to stall for long times which is great for hard stuff along with shiraman’s ability to remove 10 turns of any debuff with a symbol (not paralyze or despair or bind as those occur on the units without an icon). Brook has his special captain that is impossible to replace because it allows you to die which is basically a way to clean your slate of debuffs and negative buffs, but unfortunately he doesn’t boost attack very much. You have very good units in lawffy, snakeman v2 (the super type one), bullet, kaido, onami, and v3 law. They’re all just strong and nami is a great conditional applied and conditional attack booster (she’s more of a sub than the others I listed). The other units you have are good but I don’t see them used as much, nami/robin’s boost is great but kinda limited to 2 types and having an hp cut in it doesn’t help because enemies love to react to those, [for clarification, what color is Sabo?], doffy isn’t used much anymore because hard to use and normal attack only made him useless (it can also make kaido useless), tesoro is a good sub but he unfortunately doesn’t have the highest chain lock anymore, and v3 Ray has a unique ability but it’s super annoying to use because it can be the only special used in the turn so bursts aren’t as good as they normally are.

I'm semi new to the game, have been coming back every few months to do some pulls and box management in case I every try and get serious with it, one thing that puts me off is I have no clue on who to keep or not.

I put together a quick clip of my 5* and 4* in my box, (and a screenshot of my currently evo'd characters) not sure out of which legends I have, I should be focusing on, or what out of the lot lot I should just throw in the ray shop? Or just which units are the fodder units I can get rid of, and maybe an ideal team for law/Luffy out of what I have now.

Keep in mind there is no beat everything team in the game, but you can make generic teams to beat a lot of stuff. So using just the units you’ve shared here’s the best team I can come up with:

Luffy/law | Luffy/law

Franky | v2 Sabo

V1 kuzan | v1 Ray

This team is not going to be the best. While a team of all legends can be good, it’s hard as most legends are focused on themselves or maybe them and whatever legend they were released alongside with. You may also wonder why I didn’t put v2 snakeman, it’s because while he is “rainbow” he is a fake rainbow which is a term I use to describe units that boost all units, but boosts only one class or color way more than the other classes so the rainbow boost is kinda fake. More for that reasoning is while v2 snakeman will have a higher constant boost to all units, Luffy/law will have a higher captain boost on the turns you use their special. Luffy/law are there for a captain and their rainbow 2.5x boost, franky for 2x attack that isn’t rainbow but it will boost everybody on this team, Sabo for a chain lock (only use his special after Luffy/law’s because they have a better orb boost), kuzan to extend orb and attack boost, and Ray for utility. Ray is definitely way more useful once super evolved, kuzan is basically useless honestly, and for the overall thing it’d be better to have units that just generally work together (like actual rainbow boosters or everybody boosting one class or color).

A str focused v2 snakeman team would be great but also it would unfortunately be way less good against qck enemies. But still he is your strongest captain if you can make a team that works well with him.

If you want to have teams that people can be more confident in, it’d be better to share all of your box that is 4* rarity or higher as those are generally where good and/or useful units start existing.

I’d say the large majority of the time it doesn’t matter, for some captains it does matter (def is useless on v1 Blackbeard, v1 fuji benefits more from orbs because he boosts a ton more from matching orbs). Other than captain specific ones it won’t matter but on some teams for difficult stuff it will matter, I tried a few teams for Hawkins forest that required defense but other than that it’s not frequently necessary.

For team-building, I'm having trouble figuring out how to find certain info efficiently. I'll give a few examples:

1. Shanks Crew (#2862) has a captain ability that reduces Silence/Special Bind. I just happened to notice that. How else could I have figured that out? I don't see how to find that in the OPTC database (http://optc-db.github.io)
2. In the game, I can search my box for characters with Specials that reduce Special Bind. But what about characters with Sailor/Crewmate abilities, Support abilities, or Potential abilities that reduce Special Bind?
3. Is there a way to upload my box to the character database, so it can search my box instead of all 3000 characters?
4. I know you can have your box on Nakama Network, but I don't see how to search beyond very simple filters. Can it search my box using complex filters like the character database?

I really don't understand the mode. I tried different teams, checked videos that try to explain and copied teams that beat opponents i saw in mu list. I loose against the same teams the vids are winning against. Whats going on. What do i miss (apart from knowledge). How can i practice without doing ranked matches?

Alright, this is a "tricky" one.

I never had such a good sugo. In box order I pulled: Luffy and Ace, Sanji and Judge, Dog and Cat, Arlong Crew, V2 Snakeman, Lucy, Supertype Sabo, V1 Akainu, Jack, Dex Sabo, Kaido, V2 Rayleigh, Crocodile, Doflamingo, V1 Blackbeard (x2 :D), Marco, Aokiji v3 (x2), Cracker, G4 Luffy, O-Soba Mask, Shiki, Franky, v3 Law, v2 Aokiji, Shanks v2 (like, a lot i have 5 of them, 4 dupes), v3 Kataturi.

I just started off, this was the first sugo on this account. Not gonna pull on part 3 and 4, even tho i miss Blackbeard. Story mode i just finished the water seven arc.

Unfortunately, I still miss vivibecca, saboala, ray and cora. Didn't get the rr law.

My question is: on which units should i focus? I already got a bunch of manuals, gonna farm up the others tomorrow. Who should i limit break first? What do i focus now? Everything u can tell me :D

Next round is block B, then is block C then championship and exhibition at the same time.

All the players who achieved top 5k in at least one of the blocks (A, B or C) will be put into championship. The players who were ranked lower than top 5k in all blocks will be put into exhibition.

So if you ranked top 5k for block A you could literally not play at all in blocks B and C (not even daily fights) and you would still participate in championship when that starts.

Not entirely sure what help you’re asking for, they’re all good, v2 Ray (dex) is probably the most useless one on there, maybe judge but the germa batches work really well together.

Out of them I’d say vivibecca, v1 Ray, v2 Ray, and maybe v2 kata (depends on what you’re going for) are the ones you would primarily use as subs, the rest would be good captains, some may also work as either (not bullet).

Just pay close attention to who they boost with their specials, some of them have rainbow specials (both snakemans, shanks crew, shiraman (kinda), judge, v2 kata, kinda the 6th anni units, and both rays), some boost a variety of classes or colors but not all classes or colors (v3 law, Sabo/koala, v3 aokiji, v3 Akainu, vivibecca, and halloween Ace), and some only boost one color or class but I don’t see any of those in this list. So make sure the crew is all boosting each other, free spirit and cerebral are probably your best bets for crews right now because you have strong legends from those classes, also str/dex/qck would also go well with your v3 admirals.

They do different things, and actually better if they're together. But if you're actually asking who to flag first, then maybe go with V2BB, since he can work by himself as a damager.

V2Snakeman, sure, he's really strong, feel free to use him anywhere. But of course, there's no legend now that can clear everything as a lead.

Or if you're actually asking who to pull for on the current sugo, maybe try reading Muffin's rates, and compare your box for better result.

Just started playing. I made 2 accounts.

1. Luffy/Law starter with 2x V2-G4 Luffy
2. Luffy/Law starter with Nami & Franky

Would have liked the account (Luffy/Law starter with V2-G4 Luffy + Franky/Nami) in the reroll guide but it's taking me long to get.

Should account #2 be the main account? I figured that I can always use some gems to pull the V2-G4 Luffy from the beginning banner.

Take number 1, period. Nami and Franky aren't worth a V2G4. Also do not pull on the beginner sugo. There is currently a supertype sugo going on and it's literally the best sugo to ever be released on global, rivalled only by the last French Anni. You should make your pulls there.
