The fake Kidd Pirates is just Oda shitting on people that still believe that Kid pirates are still alive.

I also believe they will survive, but I also think Oda took them out of the rest of the story so he can focus on the SH's, BB, Revos, WG, Sword etc... too many groups and factions, too little time. Can't be a coincidence that Oda murked Kidd right after he did his part against Big Mom - purpose fulfilled, now step to the side cause I dont have room for you. Thats my opinion on the whole Kidd matter.
