if you noticed the panel where VP announcement commences, there is a cardiac monitor that shows a straight line, Vegapunk is dead.

Good spotting. I suspect he will live on through the satellites/Punk Records in some way though. That feels like a compomise so that we can still have someone with his knowledge active in the story.

I also feel bad for Sanji. I think he will really be affected by the fact that he failed to keep his promise to Bonney.

Since Kizaru dealt the killing blow, it'd be a nice set up for a Sanji/Kizaru rivalry

Sanji vs kizaru when they go after Imu maybe? First time they met kizaru was overwhelmingly powerful(sabaody), second time they met they were much more evenly matched(here), third time they meet sanji will be overwhelmingly more powerful, I forget what the trope is called but it’s kind of like genishiro in sekiro

Akainu vs Luffy - he has to get his revenge

Ryokugyu vs Usopp in a parallel universe, it doesn't make sense powerscaling-wise unfortunately

Right now Kizaru stomps Sanji. Even Luffy couldn't beat him, they were evenly matched before Saturn appeared. But by the end of the story it would be cool if Sanji, as the third in command of the king of the pirates, is on the level of an Admiral like Kizaru, and maybe could even beat him.

This good too because with the satellites we can have a vegapunk in every major faction all sharing one singular mind with differing emotional standings. York goes with the WG to fulfill endgame stuff, Lilith could end up with BB. I can see Atlas or Edison going with either Cross Guild or the Rev Army. That way we can have VPs' influence on every side!
