Yes but remembers the guards at Impel Down, they were described by Oda as having their instincts taken over by their fruit. It's the price for awakening zoans.. Here Saturn is literally not talking at all, which is very strange

Oda actually hinted that Luffy could pay a price too, maybe it's just the fact that he is still smiling while his friends are being killed, or it will be something else, who knows. Vegapunk got the Ace treatment and Luffy is there with a big smile, clearly the fruits doing

My guess is that overusing the awaking has lasting effects, those guys are also very old so there you go

Could be, although I haven’t felt like Lucci is much different from before despite awakening. And it would be weird to me if he was more in control with his fruit than Saturn

It was mentioned earlier when kaku and lucci went awakened. That it was rare for awakened Zoans to not give into the beast. Saturn is having a really bad day, so him losing concentration and letting the beast slip out is unsurprising.

It's probably a combination of rareness and overuse. Luffy and Saturn have mythical fruits, their personality is much stronger and so the take over is easier.

Maybe Kaido knew about it and it's why he didn't use awakening

We still don't know what the fuck the demon summoning circle thing was about. We've never seen anything else like that in the story.

I’m genuinely starting to wonder if Saturn is even fucking human at this point, his cruelty has been on a whole other level compared to other characters and Oda seems to be hiding the truth about his powers to everyone.

They made me think of the eyes you see when Kabuki actors wear stage makeup. I was browsing Wikipedia and stumbled upon this- Mie (pose).

Mie means 'appearance' or 'visible' in Japanese, and one of the primary purposes of this convention is to draw attention to a particularly important or powerful portion of the performance. It is meant to show a character's emotions at their peak, and can often be a very powerful pose. The actor's eyes are opened as wide as possible; if the character is meant to seem agitated or angry, the actor will cross his eyes.

Maybe Saturn is gearing up to launch a very powerful attack?

They pointed out he was covered by venom after his eyes changed. At first it looked like he had black around his eyes, but I think his sclera is what is black. If that's the case he has the exact same eyes with an iris like Luffy.

I think that was just her touching him to steal his appearance with her devil fruit, this looks like Saturn's gone full demon mode or something.
