Of all the things he could have double crossed the WG in. E.g. making himself have supreme authority over everything, he makes bonney have control over the pacifistas. Truly noble.

Didn's Shanks leave Elbaf to look for the last poneglyph? They called him the Sun God and needed him for an emergency so I'd say that it connects to the overarching plot and the Giant's role in the Voidcentury rather than the race to Laughtale.
