Saul is supposedly hiding on Elbaf, studying all the books rescued from Ohara.

Not sure if even Gear 5 can lift the size of the lore that will be dropped.

Luffy doesn't care in any care, wouldn't even understand a thing about it. But Ohara's library Is Robin's inheritance, she'll get it and simply guide the crew

Two different things, your example would have been a shortcut/gift, learning from books that they "found" during their journey is another. I mean, Robin is looking for informations everywhere she goes in any case, and this is hers by birthright

I actually think Robin knows way more than she has been letting on, and has deliberately been withholding info from Luffy in order to not ruin his adventure.

Oh shit… I completely forgot that they probably have all the books from Ohara. They probably read through them and probably had the experience of their own (well if there was like a grandkid, where the grandparents lived in the void century). They at the moment are probably the people with the most amount of knowledge on the void century.
