Of all the things on my bingo card for who was coming to Egghead, it sure as hell wasn't Dorry and Brogy.

Oda just keeps continuing to cook with this arc.

Even up to the last moment, I was thinking it was the new giant pirates led by Hajrudin!

Oda knows how to make us think we are cooking with our theories and then just completely outclass us with the meal he has prepared!

It makes so much more sense than any of the other theories too, they are ridiculously close, any other ally making it to Egghead in a day would have been an asspull.

yeah, deep down I thought it was most likely shanks cz he was heading out of the closest island to Egghead so I should have thought of Dorry and Brogy too, but I completely forgot about them.

Also, could Shanks still be nearby? is the reunion soon? or I think he left Elbaf and now Dorry and Brogy are going to take us there so we will miss him. Oda is such a tease

and in hindsight we now that Elbaf is the island closest to Egghead. So it just makes sense that between getting the news and being there that the giant pirates would be the first people arriving in time.

Giants were the only real option, anything else would have been nonesense or just random. Giants have the meaning and reason to be there, plus with this we have a real reason to go to Elbaf next

But how is this not completely random? Like how would they know the Straw Hats were even on Egghead? How did they get there? Too many questions that’ll just be waved off because we’re in the end game.

It went out the day before, considering that giant's ship are probably much faster compared to normal ones, and that we don't really know how close Elbaf is, then this was literally the only plausible option.

It's just a matter of exclusion tbh, anything else made absolute no sense for one reason or the other so this option was the only one left.

BB? He wouldn't have saved the scientist
Shanks? He said it's not time yet to meet Luffy, plus he already said where he has to go next (Barto)
Luffy's fleet? Imagine if some of them assembled to help him because of something that happened 20 days ago.. that would be hilarious. Plus the newspapers already announced he was ok long ago
Marco? He was the wildcard that helped them during Wano, from a narrative point of view he can't do the same the very next saga. He would literally turn into plot armor
Dragon? He was on the other side of the world just "yesterday"

You may not like it but Saul has always been in contact with Vegapunk and when he read what was about to happen in Egghead it only made sense that he would do anything in his power to prevent another Ohara. Plus Robin was also there, no way he watches while another buster call is been dropped on her head.

The only real doubt was if he there himself or if he just sent others. You may not like it but it was the only option that made sense

Plus think about it, we knew we had to go to Elbaf next because Oda basically told us so. But the crew still needed a reason and there really wasn't one up until now. There really were many reasons to expect the giants to arrive

It’s one of the worst feud ex machinas I’ve seen, even from Oda. I’d love to hear the reason behind them being there because narratively it makes no sense right now.
