Wow. Poor vegapunk. The panel with him standing before a falling egghead was devastating. Was the ship that left egghead yesterday someone important or random? I don't remember seeing something like that. That aproaching vessel gotta be that blackbeard ship we saw chapters ago right?

If I remember well, it was a vessel full with all the workers from Egghead. They had decided tl evacuhate all non-robots and non-Vegapunk from the Island.

My guess on the importance is that they are aware that the WG is trying to kill Vegapunk. Their survival ensures that the story will leak out. People will investigate, find a destroyed island, etc. The incident can only be an incident if people find out.
