For anyone wondering, this watch is inspired by Ripley’s watch! It was difficult to find, as apparently it’s no longer being made.

Noomi Rapace Born: 28 December 1979 (age 45 years) in Hudiksvall, ( I hope I spelled that right),Sweden renowned for her intense and versatile performances. She gained international acclaim for her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish film adaptations of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series, starting with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009).
We of course know her for her performance as Dr. Elizabeth Shaw in Prometheus (2012). I personally find her a really compelling actress and it’s a shame we didn’t get to see more of her in Covenant. What are your thoughts on Noomi Rapace and the Character of Dr Shaw?

This is the first cooperative board game I’ve played, where you are not playing against the other people but all of you play together and together you win or lose against the game itself. We’ve played 3 times (twice with 2 players, once with 3) and it has been a different experience and adventure each time, from battling Ash to sealing off the Nostromo for a win.
While the amount of objects and variables is a little intimidating, the learning curve to play isn’t too steep, there’s a great YouTube guide produced by the games manufacturer that demonstrates how to play. We caught on pretty quick.
Overall, highly recommend playing this game if you haven’t before. For the huge Alien fan, it’s fantastic!

Surprisingly was able to hide it for 2 months while I worked on it. Some changes could be made but still super proud of it

In the first Alien movie, when the facehugger is impregnating Kane, Dallas and Ripley knows that it has shoved something down Kane's throat, and something is occurring but they were unaware of precisely what.
But when the facehugger accomplishes it's task, and Kane awakens, Dallas and Ripley's reaction is highly illogical and negligent. Kane says he's alright, and everyone just forgets all about Kane having an alien life form attached to his face for several hours.
No one ponders on what the hell the facehugger did to Kane, and what consequences Kane will suffer due to it.
They are like, let's have a feast and go back to sleep, nothing to see here. Dude says he's fine, so he must be fine.
Sure Ash was manipulating them, but still they could have had somewhat more careful approach.

I bought the digital copy for Alien Romulus and the video and audio is incredible. For context, I have a 75 inch qled tv (Hisense U8N) and a Dolby Atmos sound system (Sonos Beam Gen 2 + Sub Mini + 2 Era 100s).
It makes me wonder, how much better could the 4K Ultra copy be? I don’t own a 4K Blu Ray player and i much prefer just owning digital movies but I’m willing to get a 4k player just for my favorite movies, Alien Romulus being one of them, if 4K movies are that much better. I get the technical jist - discs can hold a ton more storage than streaming can handle but streaming already looks and sounds pretty damn good. Has anyone compared the 4K Ultra version to the digital version? If so, in practical terms, how much better is it?

The Starcraft I'm referring to is the 1998 game, not Starcraft 2, which I have never played.
In the 1998 game, it's revealed that the Xel'Naga, an ancient race of beings, created the Protoss. So, in this case, the Xel'Naga are what the Engineers are to humans. After some millennia, the Xel'Naga deemed the Protoss a failure, and the Protoss later turned against their creators, driving them off their planet.
The Xel'Naga then created the Zerg as a weapon against the Protoss, with the Xel'Naga encoding a hatred of the Protoss in the Zerg, but like before, the Zerg turned against their creators and then sought to fight against the Protoss and the Terrans (humans).
It kinda looks like Ridley Scott took the idea of the Engineers from Starcraft, it seems.
