I shared some art on here a few days ago and a few people seemed to quite like it ! Here’s another sketchbook page using pencils, prismacolors and watercolour paint :)

This is the first cooperative board game I’ve played, where you are not playing against the other people but all of you play together and together you win or lose against the game itself. We’ve played 3 times (twice with 2 players, once with 3) and it has been a different experience and adventure each time, from battling Ash to sealing off the Nostromo for a win.

While the amount of objects and variables is a little intimidating, the learning curve to play isn’t too steep, there’s a great YouTube guide produced by the games manufacturer that demonstrates how to play. We caught on pretty quick.

Overall, highly recommend playing this game if you haven’t before. For the huge Alien fan, it’s fantastic!

My coworker made this for me and I'm just speechless. She's the only one who knows my obsession!

I saw this in '86 and found out it was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. He designed so many beautiful cars including my favorite, the Lotus Esprit. They re-issued these back in the 00's. I had to have it. It still gets positive comments and very few recognize it.

So I picked this up from a friend who had it on display in a public place and it has a very interesting background. I bought it with a load of other cool bits when it shut down a couple of years ago. I have verbal confirmation that this thing is genuine but I’m just trying to get written confirmation atm. There’s still a chance it could be a dud but I’m always sceptical though. To me the paper doesn’t look that old but it’s been in a case for a while. I had to take it out and have a look lol.

But regardless I thought you guys may appreciate it anyway or offer your scepticism.

Or are they two different species? I thought in the comics they were different? And what's the lore of the space jockies? Are they superior to the engineers? An older race cleaning up the mess of the engineers? Cause I remember in an old comic they seemed to deal with xenomorphs easily enough with their weapons. And they seem larger than engineers?

I bought the digital copy for Alien Romulus and the video and audio is incredible. For context, I have a 75 inch qled tv (Hisense U8N) and a Dolby Atmos sound system (Sonos Beam Gen 2 + Sub Mini + 2 Era 100s).

It makes me wonder, how much better could the 4K Ultra copy be? I don’t own a 4K Blu Ray player and i much prefer just owning digital movies but I’m willing to get a 4k player just for my favorite movies, Alien Romulus being one of them, if 4K movies are that much better. I get the technical jist - discs can hold a ton more storage than streaming can handle but streaming already looks and sounds pretty damn good. Has anyone compared the 4K Ultra version to the digital version? If so, in practical terms, how much better is it?

The Starcraft I'm referring to is the 1998 game, not Starcraft 2, which I have never played.

In the 1998 game, it's revealed that the Xel'Naga, an ancient race of beings, created the Protoss. So, in this case, the Xel'Naga are what the Engineers are to humans. After some millennia, the Xel'Naga deemed the Protoss a failure, and the Protoss later turned against their creators, driving them off their planet.

The Xel'Naga then created the Zerg as a weapon against the Protoss, with the Xel'Naga encoding a hatred of the Protoss in the Zerg, but like before, the Zerg turned against their creators and then sought to fight against the Protoss and the Terrans (humans).

It kinda looks like Ridley Scott took the idea of the Engineers from Starcraft, it seems.

Came in the mail this morning can't wait to get it framed!
