Unfortunately, propaganda is effective, and people really fall for conspiracy theories or drink the Kool Aide thinking the party actually cares. Most of the time its due to muddy waters on what candidates have done. There are still people who really believe Trump is a person on the "outside" trying to drain the swamp for us, combine that with people getting shafted/ignored/used by the democratic party and its a party.

Religion plays a huge factor at indoctrinating black folk sadly.

I'd also bet that 13 % out of that 21 % are men voting for Trump.

Pretty sure it was 16% last time while black women were like 2%

A lot of people at my church voted for Trump because they were adamant that women shouldn't be leaders in any capacity.

Even if there was a swamp to drain, they're replacing it with a sewage field.

Ironically there is a swamp to drain, it's just Trump and the special interests along with selfish politicians and SCOTUS folks selling out the electorate.

I'm going to be completely honest, when I was younger (like, 10, cause this was 2 election cycles ago) I heard "Drain the Swamp" and I full on thought Trump was going to actually drain swampland, like tear it down, remove the water, etc.

They won't drain themselves

Yeah I know a handful of black people and family members that fall for conspiracy theories and Most of all think trump was the one who gave them money in 2020. It's a shame

It’s crazy because even if… that little bit of money wasn’t worth a vote 🤦🏾‍♂️

I got a cousin around my age that's wholeheartedly Trump. Young black dude, with dreads and tats. But he's so far into conspiracy theories, he goes off the rails with basic rebuttals.
