I know a lot of people are simply going to support her cause she's a woman and they'd prefer that over the man who talks about smashing his daughter, and I'm here for it BITCH

The bias against women as leaders is far greater in numbers than those who have bias in favor, especially when you consider the ones who prefer women were voting democratic either way. The ones biased against women might flip or most likely sit out

And a LOT of the times it's subconscious. There's consistent disparities between what people say the think and do, and what we actually do.

I don’t see anyone saying this. First woman president? First minority woman president? Or Trump. A white man who makes big promises and has a big smile. Do the math- this country isn’t ready. I hope to God they pick someone besides Harris

I think at this point. We have the age issue fixed, the misogynist issue fixed, and all the negative press issue fixed, and most importantly actually education in politics. Idk.

While I hope she wins, you're underestimating just how much she was disliked for being Black and a woman. Racism and misogyny are very much alive in America...

u/thicc_chicc98 Jul 21 '24

True but time has sped up a bit and I pray the hate for trump overpowers that.

u/DirtySilicon ☑️ Jul 21 '24

She may not even get backing from the usual large donors, though. Since Biden was talking about taxing the billionaires suddenly they conveniently think he is too old now and don't want Kamala either.

u/Myth_5layer Jul 21 '24

I'd rather not, considering the bitch has no fucking skills to show for presidency besides the fact she's black and a woman.

u/thicc_chicc98 Jul 21 '24

I back the blue.

u/Serpenio_ ☑️ Jul 21 '24

She’s not even black. She’s Indian.

15

u/charismatic_guy_ Jul 21 '24

Shes half black

-7

u/Serpenio_ ☑️ Jul 21 '24

She’s Jamaican. Not African American. She can trace her roots.

0

u/charismatic_guy_ Jul 21 '24

Her wiki literally says shes African American

-7

u/Serpenio_ ☑️ Jul 21 '24

It’s wrong. Look up her parents.

6

u/Desperate-Session-12 Jul 21 '24

She's a half black Jamaican.

-9

u/Serpenio_ ☑️ Jul 21 '24

If Jamaican is black, that’s like saying Dominican is black.

Some have pointed out that doing this is the only way to retain the money they have already raised for the campaign. Since she was already on the ticket, she gets to inherit those funds. If they went with someone else entirely, that person would be starting with $0

3

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '24

I mean the PAC money will be returned to the PACs then redistributed to whoever wins the nomination. Most of that money is PAC money not grassroots.

5

u/adelaide129 Jul 21 '24

Is it okay that I'm hesitant because she's a cop? Her policy as a DA felt.... forgive me, it felt unkind and unhelpful. Obvs I will vote for whoever isn't Trump, I'm just looking to better understand the situation.

10

u/Ambitious-Pirate-505 Jul 21 '24

Kamala won't win. I don't know why people think that because she's a woman she'll get the vote.

Y'all don't understand how much they hate women. Like hate hate.

Affirmative Action was for women.

Roe v. Wade was for women.

Violence against women act.

She is toast.

Hey bot, remind me on November 6th, 2024 that we lost our democratic way.

u/daddysxenogirl Jul 21 '24

I want to see a Harris/ Crockett ticket. Just straight no bullshit allowed leadership

-5

u/BaronAleksei ☑️ Jul 21 '24

Crazy that we could have two black presidents and neither are the descendants of American slaves

15

u/DirtySilicon ☑️ Jul 21 '24

Your point?

7

u/Amazing-Concept1684 Jul 21 '24

What I’m tryna figure out too lmao

3

u/BaronAleksei ☑️ Jul 21 '24

The vast majority of Black Americans can trace their ancestry through American slavery and form links from their past to the present. As much as the legacy of slavery has impacted them and America at large, I would consider it a real positive step to have someone with that specific family history and experience as the American head of state. It’s not a magic cure (just look at Clarence Thomas and Eric Adams) but it’d be nice to have that representation inform policy in that role on a personal level. It’s certainly informed how I live my life.

16

u/Amazing-Concept1684 Jul 21 '24

I’m for it 🤷🏾‍♂️ doesn’t matter to me.

u/EasternAssistance907 Jul 21 '24

Kamala Harris does not have what it takes to beat Trump

5

u/Vorpalthefox Jul 21 '24

well, she's not an insurrectionist convicted felon, so she's far better off them trump

as a prosecutor she stands a strong chance against this criminal

4

u/EasternAssistance907 Jul 21 '24

Harris set a new record for VP unfavorable ratings. She is extremely uncharismatic and in case you're not aware, this country continues to have significant undertones of racism and sexism.

The bitch who locked up people for smoking weed while doing the same shit and was quiet for the past 4 years is just endorsing Trump
