Hey, my name is Hawke and on the 15th of this month, I celebrated my 9 months off the smelly plant (I have the AA coins to prove it)! I also have over 3.5 years off the cocktails!

I need 107.5 to clear an old debt on a school account, from my community college days, because I officially obtained permission (long story) from the people who manage my life, living situation, and therapy/medication services to go back to school.

I am going to finish my AA first (9 classes left) and then go for my Bachelor's at a well-known Uni in my city, and finally become a special education teacher for real, my dudes! I need this debt cleared so I can obtain my transcripts and obtain financial aid from FASFA. Happy New Year, and here's to a new start!

Hi all, I’m requesting help to setup my heating payment plan and to pay my water bill. I’m a single mom of 2 and unfortunately my company closed several months back and have 0 prospects on the hundreds and hundreds of applications I have sent out. I exhausted my unemployment in late September (which didn’t cover all my monthly bills so had been using savings to cover the missing parts for months) I exhausted my savings by November. I have been relying on food banks for groceries, and finding odd jobs and selling over everything I could to try and get by and I am still short.

I need $250 to cover my water bill (to avoid shut off) and to setup my payment plant for my gas.

So my job I was paid really well for had dropped me down to part-time hours with very little pay. I'm a working homeless living in a hotel room with my spouse and cat, and I'm the sole provider. My husband is unable to work due to being disabled. I was making $1k biweekly which helped a bunch but now I'm only getting 15 hours for 270. Our hotel room a week is $451. And I'm freaking sobbing so bad, I don't want to be on the street, this is the only job that paid higher than $15 and I like it there. Anything will help.

Update I got fired two days before Christmas

Hi everyone, happy holidays! I recently moved states after escaping an abusive relationship to be closer to family, and have been struggling to find a job. I just got one and I'm over the moon happy to have some stable income again. My problem is that my prepaid phone bill is out of service and I cant send any communication to my new managers or receive any calls. I would be forever grateful if someone would be able to help me with my $60 phone bill (and if anyone has a recommendation for a cheaper but good quality prepaid service where I can still have my same number, I would love to hear!) It's been another tough month. I've never tried asking on reddit for help before, but here I am. I've spent a fortune this last year trying to keep my baby alive (rip my dog 09.10.2021-12.21.2024) and now I'm looking at whats going to be a rough few months going forward bill wise. Thankfully I am on manageable payment plans for my dogs treatment/surgery cost but they are still significant combined with my other expenses

My gas has run out after blowing my most recent paycheck (today) on other bills. A generous co worker of mine has agreed to drive me to work for atleast a week but they are asking to be compensated after 1 week since it is not a ckose drive (18mi back and forth not including him) for either of us and I dont want to do that since I only need gas for my fully functioning car.

Hi everyone, I’m having a bit of trouble trying to get groceries until I get paid next week. My kids are on winter break and our food is going by more quickly than I’m used to especially during the week since they’re in school. I’m not asking for much just enough to get me through until next Wednesday. Not sure how requesting works here. Any guidance would be much appreciated!
