why can't I improve my gaming skills?
I have been playing games since my childhood. I played a lot of games like from vice city, igi, tomb rider, paladins, pubg to Valorant.
one thing I noticed is im losing my skills. Im no pro player, but I'm consistently playing Valorant, but idk what is it age or my technique I'm not improving, infact im slowly losing it. im 26.
Does anyone else feel the same way? I love games and its somehow connected to my childhood, so seeing this makes me feel bad.

Which game is better?
Hey guys, Which game do you all find better. Hell let loose or delta Force. Yes delta is free so why not. But I want to see how many prefer one over the other and why?

What are some modern games that are worth the time to play?
As someone who is much more interested in an accessible library of local roms and emulation, I find it very cumbersome to seek out more modern games. Especially when a lot of them are filled with micro-transactions, or other nonsensical aspects that detract from just being a game.
I ask than, what are some modern/recent games you know/have that are actual good games? No nonsense, just good experiences.

Mouthwashing, Signalis, Darkwood, what is this little subgenre called and do you have reccomendations for more?
Indie horror? Psychological horror? Walking simulator? I love these types of story driven games with little gameplay and retro graphics.

✔ Answered What’s the most frustrating game you’ve ever played and why?
I’ve been thinking about the games that have made me so mad I almost threw my controller out the window, and I have a few contenders in mind. For me, it’s definitely Dark Souls. The difficulty curve is insane, and even after hours of grinding, I still find myself getting one-shot by bosses.
But I know there are other games out there that can test our patience just as much. Maybe it’s a puzzle game where you keep getting stuck, or an RPG with a grindy leveling system. I’d love to hear your stories! What games have pushed you to the brink of rage?
Let’s commiserate together!
Also, if you have any tips for dealing with that frustration, I’d appreciate it!

Lookin for 3rd person action fantasy adventure/rpg
Hi, I am looking for some 3rd person fantasy game, preferably aimed for action. (Means I dont want to play games, where 50% are cutscenes). The game should have variable environment and variable enemies as well. Weapons like (cross)bow, spells, sword....
In general Heretic 2 has similar vibe I am looking for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k2RZcdpkH4

Games I can forget reality exists??
Games with the most freedom?
Stuff like Skyrim?
I'll start by saying I'm not looking for dark souls of Elden ring I don't enjoy the souls like formula.
I'm not looking for story spefficlly But maybe stuff like mediaeval dynasty or Bellwright where you can live in the open world the same way kingdom come deliverance dose it? Either be a peasant or ride up the ranks.
Or stuff like breath of the wild, tears of the kingdom and halo infinite where your just a badass shooting up enemies and using what ever you grab as a weapon?
(I've played Witcher 3 cyberpunk 2077 as the Yakuza games as well)
I mean the just cause games were okay for awhile I enjoyed tom Clancy wildlands more then just cause tbh the division 2 not so much..

✔ Answered What's the most memorable boss fight you've ever experienced in a game?
I've been playing games for years, and I always find that boss fights stick with me long after I've finished the game. Whether it's the epic music, the intricate mechanics, or just the sheer thrill of overcoming a tough challenge, some bosses really leave a mark.
For me, I think it has to be the final boss in 'Dark Souls', Manus, the Father of the Abyss. The atmosphere, the fight mechanics, and the lore all came together perfectly. It was a true test of skill and patience!
What about you? Which boss fight do you remember the most, and what made it stand out for you? Let's share some stories!

Someone help me find out why my game keeps freezing
Yes, it’s a Windows 95/98 game but I’m really wanting to play it because it was the first game I ever played. There are no crash reports at all. The game will freeze but continue playing audio and you will have to restart the computer in order to close it out. I’m on my gaming laptop and I’m having to use an external dvd reader to play the games since they are on disks. I’m not a tech savvy person at all. I would just like people that are smarter than me to help figure out why it’s not working. Thank you guys for trying. I have a video of what it’s doing but I can’t figure out how to add it here

Best co op games like nobody saves the world
My husband is a gamer but typically sticks to his go to games; Minecraft and destiny2. I’m a casual gamer as well but prefer more goal based games. We have tried many MANY games over the years and haven’t found any we both really liked… until we found Nobody Saves the World! We loved this. I was not the best but we had so much fun and play through it. Now we are looking to create that fun again.
Please help us find some couch co-op games we might enjoy together. We have a switch ps4 and Mac books on steam.
What we liked about nobody: - humorous - story that allowed you to choose more - leveling up characters and abilities - exploring map and looting **
What we don’t like in other games: - nothing too story heavy (like kingdom hearts) - not huge side scroller game fans
More info: we have played Lego games together and while okay, he doesn’t have as much fun as I do. We’ve played Minecraft but I get bored with too much open world (my adhd needs goals and objectives) and my husband, he’s too creative at Minecraft so I feel like I’m doing nothing lol. I love fallout4 and bioshock for the looting! He enjoys those as well but they are not co op.
Hoping someone with a deep knowledge of coop games and some awesome ideas/ personality skills can point us in the right direction!

Looking for a new game
I’ve just finished red dead redemption 2 for the first time. Loved the open world concept + the action/adventure, I wanted to know if there’s any other games like it?
I’m also open to any mmorpg, but it’s the open world concept I really like

Burn out in need of new genres
I need a new genre of games any suggestions??
My few favourite games were breath of the wild tears of the kingdom. I also enjoyed pal world and palia. Also I didn't enjoy factory building games like factorio or satisfactory too stressful (I'm not lol for difficult games like dark souls they stress me out too much yes I get you can upgrade your abilities but still it wasn't fun for me )
The thing I enjoy in these games are the freedom of chaos/chill vibes
I kinda want to try military Sims maybe ? Or tactical games
I've played stardew valley, coral island dinkum my time at sandrock and my time at portia. I also enjoyed mediaeval dynasty Bellwright and aska.
Most games I've played are sandboxes and farm Sims.
I also enjoyed Witcher 3 and cyberpunk 2077

Ps5 game recommendations
I own a lot of ps5 games and I got 200 dollars in gift cards for Christmas and I’m not sure what games to get. I already have the big exclusive titles outside of last of us part 2 remake only because I haven’t beaten the first one and I don’t do horror games like silent hill and resident evil.

Games with simple addicting gameplay loop??
What games are surprisingly chill?
I'm playing go go town and it's not too bad.
I also enjoyed Euro truck simulator and American truck simulator
Palia and dream light valley were just perfect chill games I'm only on pc Swinging around new York in the spider man games was the way to go for a chill time.
Minecraft is great too.
I've also played stardew valley, coral island, my time at sandrock and my time at portia dinkum
Looking for chill time maybe even something like raft where it's you and the ocean and building your base
