If I was in a tank then yes I can

1 man can't operate a tank very well.

1 man can drive it tho. They wouldn't be able to shoot but the tank can just run over the lizard. Only takes one to drive, 2 is for the main gun and a person to load it.

I mean, I could shoot it. I'd just have to come to a complete stop and then switch to the gunner spot and then go about shooting

Yall are assuming it's just gonna chill at the sight of a tank.

Well, it's never seen a tank before, so it might think it's friendly. Also. If the tank is painted camouflage, the dragon will never see it coming

There are random people who sincerely think they could beat Serena Williams at tennis lol.

Some people also think they could beat a house cat sized feral cat.

They're not the smartest. Those things are murder balls.

1

u/Vacivity95 3h ago

A human would not be killed by a house cat m8

1

u/Shinjetsu01 3h ago

Rabies, bites and scratches. It's entirely possible. You've never met a feral cat if you think it couldn't beat the shit out of you.

It likely wouldn't kill you but they are ridiculous.

1

u/Vacivity95 3h ago

It would just run away m8. If the fight were to happen then the cat will scratch the shit out of the human but that is not really what we are comparing ??

I live on a farm. They get into the sheds when they're hunting Shrews and Mice. They do not just "run away" they literally back themselves into a corner and will Tasmanian devil anything within 10ft of it.

1

u/Vacivity95 3h ago

And why you think they back themselves into the corner?

0

u/Shinjetsu01 3h ago

You don't get it mate, that's okay. I hope you never have to deal with a feral cat who has lived it's life in the fields and are just 5 - 10kg of pure muscle, claws, teeth and disease.

Sure I could. No sweat.

I have a larger brain, a warm-blooded metabolism, opposable thumbs, and an AR-15. 🀣

A single bite and you’re essentially done for without antibiotics or anything. Even if you manage to kill it you are not far behind. I also forgot they are venomous, and it’s not just the bacteria in their saliva.

Maybe with a shotgun

In a 1v1 situation where we're in the open, I could take one. Out maneuver and out endurance it, till it gets tired and beat it with large rocks. With my bare hands, definitely not. Saw a video of a man in Africa killed a male lion barehanded, and the guy might have been 140 lbs soaking wet. Never know what you can do until your life is on the line. Adrenaline is one hell of a drug

Why do people always comment like this as if they have something to prove?

15

u/TheFoxBunny1498 1d ago

I'd like to say they would just sit and wait for you. I think they can also climb trees (I know when they're smaller they can).

Wow you're so strong and manly with your comment on the internet about how you could best an animal far bigger and stronger(and venomous)than you. You should show this to girls at the gym who have earphones in, they're going to be so impressed.

Something cool about Komodos is that they aren't really venomous. It's the bacteria in their mouths that kill animals that they bite. The drool that you see hanging from their mouths is a toxic cocktail of deadly bacteria.

I also found this

2

u/passwordispassword-1 3h ago

Jumping into that article it's old, it also reference the lower jaw venom gland and the first comment correctly references that the gland was conclusively demonstrated to hold venom in 2013.

Sorry my comment was short because I'm lazy but there's ample evidence they're venomous now.

1

u/Skeptic_Juggernaut84 2h ago

I believed you. The part of the article I posted that I found interesting was that they don't really have a way to inject the venom like snakes do so they have to rely on a bite and tear method and hope the venom take effect or the animal just bleeds to death.

Hunnie u r underestimating mankind! We could beat em just not in a fistfight! πŸ˜‚

17

u/Titan_of_Ash 1d ago

Whenever the terminology of the human beating animal in a fight is used, it's always in a fist fight. So no, the person you replied to is not underestimating mankind, because guns are not even a metric in the original point of contention.

Tempted to start a new sect of Christianity now...

It's exactly the same as before, but when God creates Adam and Eve, he creates them with gun augments.

And instead of being manipulated by the serpent Eve just blasts it with some kind of awesome biological machine gun.

The only reason why we don't do that today is we've forgotten how to use them. Secrets lost to the ages.

Sign me up! I beseech your Enlightenment, oh Wise One!!

u/AfricanAmericanMage 15h ago

It's like saying you could beat a cheetah in a footrace because humans have invented cars. Like no shit. That's not the fucking argument here.

u/Titan_of_Ash 7h ago

Exactly!
