Cleaning out the childhood things… found this!

Ordered a 3DS LL from Japan. And the ad specified that the condition is "Normal use, a few scratches and stains" but what they sent me is this: Major dents and scratches. Loose charging port. Still charges. All screens are not IPS. Lower screen has a noticable white spot in the middle.

I think the condition should be on the "Many scratches/stains/damages" as shown in the ads.

Should I get a refund? Or just accept that 2024 isn't so lucky for me.

I was 15 when this was taken, I'm now 25. It's the limited edition Pokemon x/y blue model for anyone is curious. I still have it.

I wanted to transfer my system data from my original childhood 3ds, but forgot that I don't have direct access to my NNID. The family member that originally got it for me is the one that made the NNID, and I haven't had contact with them in almost a decade.

I was thinking about disconnecting the NNID, but Im worried about losing my Activity Log data. I can handle losing the eshop purchases and digital download save data, but Ill be pretty upset if I lose all my Activity Log data, considering it consists of hundreds, if not thousands, of hours from every game Ive played since I was 10.

Is this something I should worry about, or will it stay on the console? If not, is there a way I can work around it?

Hi, just wanted to know if this fits on the new 3ds. More specifically the battery, not really the case. Because if i remember all 3ds batteries are interchangeable? Its manufactured for old 3ds but i ordered it still to try and make it work.

I’ve tried spraying it with compressed air and I’ve tried opening the system up to see what’s going on inside but the screws are stripped so I can’t unscrew it. Are there any options to fix it for me or at least map the B button to the extra shoulder buttons

Are clear cases worth using? I've seen several reviews on various different clear cases saying that the case can end up scratching the ds you are trying to protect.

Hello guys, I bought my 3DS used by AliExpress and the console came in perfect condition, without risks. But after about six or seven months of use, the top screen no longer closes and doesn't make that click; it gets a little raised, but still activates standby mode. I wonder if anyone could give a solution. I thought it could be the film; I removed it, but the problem continued.

Him I've recently bought a 3ds for my son for Christmas. He has bought a new sd card for it. He's trying to play on Pokemon Y, ultra moon and ,Alpha Saphire but there is a profile already on. We've reset to factory settings but it's still there. We've been into the settings and deleted any saved data ( on thr 3ds and thr sd card) but thr profile is still there.Is anyone able to advise what to do? Thanks

I’m looking at these two. One is pretty scratched up for 240 and the other is really clean with an aftermarket stylus for 275. 275 without shipping. Should I ask if they can ship it out or is it gonna end up getting scratched anyway?

Back when the 3DS first came out my sister had an app where you could edit photos with cute stickers and color stuff (not the original photo editor - it was more cute themed for girls and seemed like it had a japanese theme).
