Pushups Help

Hi, I have been practicing pushups and cannot, no matter how hard I try, CANNOT, get past 30 in a row. It doesn’t matter how much I do them or how many sets, nothing seems to work. I don’t have much knowledge of different training techniques. Any advice?

Time. It takes time. Put in the work and eventually you will get past 30.

I understand that. I am more looking for specific exercises and stuff. I have been working on this for about the past 4 months now.

Change your hand position to a wider or narrower position to push out more reps.

Try isometric pushups, those will improve your strength and stability

Good advice! I think I’ll try that.

Me too man, but as he said it takes time I'm just 3 days into the challenge of 100 push ups right now doing 5 sets for 20 reps, hope to see results soon!

What kind of pushups: I used to be able to do 20 then I figured out I was doing them wrong and it halved how much I could do. Look up how to do them properly and make sure you’re doing that. And if you want to do more go slower.
