Ok, NBC, we get itā€¦ itā€™s an exclusive interview. Congratulations. All 10 grannies still awake at the care facility really appreciate the scoop. /s

This kind of grandstanding pisses me off because it feels like they just want to profit off of someoneā€™s tragedy. Just report the news. Itā€™s dramatic enough already, no need to sprinkle in more drama on top of their pain. I donā€™t miss network or cable news. Iā€™m quite happy with the AP and Reuters apps.

If your brother waa gunned down police wouldn't you want the world to know. IMHO I'm surprised they got the cop video.

I think you misunderstood. I donā€™t object to the world knowing. I object to how network news has become info-tainment. They make a fuss about inserting themselves into the drama instead of simply reporting the tragedy.
