I know the sub had a loose definition before, but wtf?

This one was too funny to not share. It definitely falls outside of our scope but I made an exception for our subreddits humor quota.

I’ve only ever noticed you sharing the videos. I think you’ve earned enough good will to share whatever you damn well please. Well, within reason.

Wait, you're a mod?! Damn. I feel like you shouldn't make exceptions for your own posts :/

I helped make the subreddit. How wouldn’t I help select what is shown here?

Our mod team is a bit more forgiving with submissions if they are “good.” Which is subjective I know... but seems to be working.

This particular submit got me because it’s spreading internationally as a viral video.

Edit: Clearly I might be more forgiving than our users! I’ll take the downvotes as a reminder.

I enjoyed it. People are way too picky. I'll be downvoted but I don't think it's too harsh to suggest that people lighten up a little. This is a quality post.

Edit: I should also add that I really think this post does fit what the sub is supposed to be based on the sticky post explaining what yall were trying to do. How many times have we seen across social media selfies that were taken like this with "the face"? It's definitely a worldwide thing and this absolutely captures humanity. But that's just my opinion I guess.

Thank you! That is the whole point of these types of posts being allowed. They are funny, lighthearted, and show what people actually like and share nowadays.

Exactly. Plus, I think its insane that we live in a day and age where a guy in the US can make a funny video and then within 24hrs some gals in Indonesia love it and help spread the virality.

We are just trying to showcase what its like to live all around the world. Strict submission rules are boring and stop us from doing that.
