Right? If they truly knew there was nothing wrong with their beliefs, they’d have no reason to attack him, since he’d just be making a false comparison. Them attacking him pretty much proves his point. They’re knowingly supporting evil and they’re okay with it.

No, it's quite plausible that they thought "this guy is spreading propaganda by mocking us and comparing us to cartoonish villains. Get him.". It really doesn't prove that they know they're supporting evil at all.
