SCOTUS has become a joke. There is no reverence or respect due to a corrupt body that has been used as a tool to break the backs of American union workers and women, as well as eroding the separation of church and state.

To think of how many rights we, as citizens, have lost due to this naked financial corruption is so disheartening. And every instance can be traced back to right-wing entitlement.

I would say they should be ashamed, but theyā€™re far too cheap and un-American to feel shame or any sense of decency. They are not worthy of the sacrifice that has been made for them by soldiers and workers that gave their all for the ideal that is America.

Traitors feel no shame

That was an excellent presentation. I didn't realize how systemic corruption has overtaken SCOTUS. Thomas was caught previously.

When I was in business law class in college, the professor, who was a lawyer clearly stated. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse for the court. So, Thomas' assertions that he "asked friends, and collogues" does not pass muster, especially if there's an legal ethics organization that can answer the question.

Itā€™s also hilarious that a Supreme Court Justice would need legal advice that anybody over the age of 12 would be able to figure out on their own.

He didn't ask for legal advice on if he should do it. He asked for advice on if there was any punishment if discovered he was doing it. And as we're seeing, the answer was "nope!"

I fucking love this guy. It's such a shame that every time this guy speaks though, it's always to an empty room.

The owners of 99.9% of all MSM organizations are conservative 1%ers. Not Liberal leftists like you may have been led to believe by conservatives and the MSM.

They keep the rooms empty by staying silent on the works of good people like Senator Sheldon Whitehouse.

The Supreme Court has been bought and sold to the highest bidder, Amy Coney Barret received a million dollars of support from the Koch brothers and refuses to recuse herself on cases involving their shell companies, The Americans for prosperity, and Georgia Pacific. The court is the pustule of the judicial system.

How cool would it be if a man named Whitehouse became the president?!

15

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '23

I like Whitehouse, any reason why i shouldn't?

Maybe if the right didn't idolize criminals, we wouldn't have criminals running all these important institutions

Maybe if we didnā€™t allow Cluster B types to gain the positions of authority and legislation and government, and law and order, and military and corpoā€™sā€¦

Weā€™d stand a chance. :(

Heā€™s all over this and no one cares.

Is there a legitimate government at this point. SCOTUS and Congress are bought and paid with Kompromat and enormous fundraisers. Trump was a joke and likely a traitor. Biden is old and still not progressive enough for the times. His experience and deal making have been good though

100% agree with everything you just wrote.

I mean, two justices are sitting on stolen seats. Both of whom said they would leave Roe alone and then promptly overturned it. I didn't need more proof to know the SC is screwed but I guess I'm glad to have it.

He just proved that the circuit courts knew about the ethics issues, but followed the ā€œsnitches get stitchesā€ street code. This is, wow.
