Hello, I have a problem with two of my remotes. They are Lioncast-Remotes and I am aware that third-party stuff usually isn't reliable.

The thing is they were working 4 days ago.

The only thing that changed is the physical location of the wii-console. It was at my mums and since she doesn't use it, I took it home with me. I have tried re-syncing, I have looked for possible battery leakage, anything.

I do recall these remotes being "difficult" after a move in the past, but I can't find the solution that helped a few years ago.

The remotes themselves seem to be in working order. The first LED lights up when I press a button but does not keep blinking no matter what I do. This also lines up with my previous experience with these remotes.

The original remote I have was not bothered by the move, so I can still play and this is not time critical. I just want to figure out what problem these remotes have.

Hello! I have also had this issue with my remotes. The factors that caused this may be the batteries being put in wrongly or there is something wrong with the sync button. But before we continue to more issues does your remote light up when u try to sync it with your wii?

Batteries are in the right way. The sync button behaves like all the orther buttons. The LED lights up once but does not keep blinking like it is supposed to.

I've read about maybe the contacts of the sync button being botched, but thought that would be ruled out because it does something - even if not the thing it's supposed to do.

Well have you tried to use another wii remote? And just to check is your wii up to date? Beacuse i think it may occur for the reason that your wii may not be up to date

I already wrote that the original remote I have is working without issue.

The wii is up to date as well.
